The guy should have taken some of those male enhancement pills before he took his clothes off.

What would the authorities have done?

First off, I looked all over the web-site, I couldn't find anything 'pagan' about Coachella (I'm sure someone will correct me shortly). A true pagan festival will say up front "Be ready for Skyclad (naked) people". Either way, the fact is, He should have known this wasn't the place for getting Skyclad. No, He was not harming anyone and yes, I feel the police over reacted. However the point remains.

I'm pagan, and have been to my fair share of gathering and festivals. With that said, I know when to keep my clothes on. By the way...why do we keep calling him a wizard? because of the robes?

"Freedom of speech holmes.. #ing freedom of speech."

That was funny, but not nearly as funny as the "Don't tase me bro" video. Dude should have just put his wizard garb back on. The officers tried to reason with him quite a bit. And like it or not, indecent exposure is illegal in the US. Seemed like the taser didn't have much of an effect on this guy anway. He was still resisting pretty good.

The funny thing is that this most likely wouldn't have gotten charged with anything. At worst they would have escorted him the premises and told him he was done at Coachella for the day

On a sidenote, that video was very flattering of the wizard's genitalia.. at all.

This would be the perfect advertisement for Extenze!

They say it works for fellers like this un.

Only then he has to find one willing to let em us-it.

I'd be worried about the finding it part.

I think he was waiting for someone to finish him off psych ward, room 13

I understand they have room for expansion.

Latest rumor has it, folks are gonna start kickin chickin.

But I could be wrong.

'Good' day.

I disagree about the freedom bit. Yes the human body is beautiful , everything is beautiful, but theres a time and place to show it off, and anywhere where children may be present is not that place.

ON the other hand I did not think that warranted a taser, those cops could have talked him into it. They did not have to treat him so inhumane and that crowd should have stepped in..

At what point do officers have the authority to taser?? When anyone doesn't go fast enough, takes to long, or argues... Does it never occur to these officers that they might just have to do their damn job?? Protect and serve right?

Personally, I don't see why the cops needed to be there. I guess I wish there were a bit more background info.

I would hope that if someone were offended or worried about their child seeing the man naked, they would have removed themselves from the immediate area, out of view of him.

If that was impossible, I would hope they would approach him with their concerns. If he still insisted on being naked, I would hope they would take their concerns to whomever was managing the event, the owner of the property etc., who could explain to the man that his actions were inappropriate and unwelcome there.

If the people there didn't attempt to address the issue outright before involving the police, I'm very disappointed in them. They could have even gotten the band involved "To Mr. Naked Wizard, the people paid to see us perform, not to see your -insert offensive body part- KK Thanks".

Regardless, I do not believe it was necessary to use the taser, or to knee him in the chest or abdomen, but it seems that's what we can expect by involving the "authorities".

Oh cmon. First, the guy was naked in public which is against the law. Its not against the law to wear a cross. Second, the guy was not cooperating with the simple request to put his close on. He could have either been tazed or forced to the group or clubbed a couple of times. What does it really matter. If you dont want the police to knock you around then try to follow their instructions. If you were wronged you can sort it out in court. They are out there risking their lifes so they cant just talk real nice to everyone who is breaking the law and expect that anyone is going to follow their instructions. In a nutshell, that guy deserved to get tazed.

What would you have done if you were the police? Would you have blantantly not done your job to enforce the law?

Dont you find it a little bit bizarre that it's illegal for us to walk in our true form ? - it's the equivalent of making it illegal for all animals to be seen without a blanket draped over them.

I realise you're defending the law but when are you going to wake up to the fact that your entire existence is illegal, the only legal things these days are those that can either be taxed or that benefit the PTB. You enjoying yourself as you came into this world is illegal, are you just unable to see the massive fundamental flaw of this or do you just refuse to ?

Anything you keep in secret eventually becomes a problem, the only reason the sex and pornography industry exists is because we cover ourselves up. You see.. children need to grow up around nudity, that way they wouldnt grow up to be perverts. The world has gotten everything totally backasswards as usual.. >,<

You dont see little tribal kids growing up to be perverts who spend 2 hours a day looking at internet porn now do you ? - Why ? - because nudity is NORMAL, we have created a fake world with fake people and fake laws. Is it any wonder we're all so lost ?

Aside from the worst case of micro-weiner I've ever seen, what was really disturbing about this video was the way they repeatedly used the taser. The cop was pressing it against his chest, right into his heart, and pulled the trigger several times. Not to mention against his head and neck. That is just wrong! What, were they trying to kill the guy because he was naked at an outdoor hippie festival? I can't believe it was legal for the cops to go that far - he wasn't a threat to anyone.

Micro-weiner
I never heard that before, but I am going to search for opportunities to use it. Thanks. You just started my morning with a laugh.

I have a theory. They werent really tazing him, they were just trying to resurrect his micro-tool.

Carrots grow small these days... must be the polution

I've seen this in my country a couple of times, drunk, naked people who resist arrest.
Here in the Netherlands they just get dragged into the back of the van by 2 officers.
I think this was a good example of a couple of cops who are over-reacting, by the stress of the crowd.

You see it often, look at soccer matches. The crowd begins ''Boooo-ing'' and the players start acting desperate.

Cheers

S.

Dude, it's a festival, not the main street in town, or the theater, or a restaurant. Yes there are naked people, and yes there are children present. What, your children must be prevented from nudity? What do you do when you shower them? Blindfold them, and tell them they can not look no matter what? LOL

Good luck bringing your kids to the beach.

1. The police in this clip is doing their job. According to their rules, they follow them as they should.
2. Their job, and their rules suck. But they didn't make the rules. People like you obviously did. Let's change 'em.
3. I am just looking forward to the day a cop, "accidently" kills someone with a taser, in the middle of a mob like this. That'll be the day. Police Pinãta my friends...

Joe

One flaw with your logic here. How many little tribal kids have access to porn, or even computers?

The need for clothing came about when people moved to regions where clothing was needed to keep a body warm.

We live in a society where clothing is needed, thus the difference between us, and tribal people.

Personally, I don't know how clean you are in regards to your bum, but I would not like to sit where you have been in all your glory for that reason alone.

Not everyone has perfect hygeine, and I would prefer to sit where a person wearing clothing has been, rather than the likes of you!

I posted on another site about this video.

If you notice he is flat refusing what the cop's tell him to do.
He even throw's his cloth's.
Figget's with his cloth's as if he is on meth or crack...very concerning ..if i was a cop.

Then after a minutes or so of it..and he fails to listen to put his cloths on.

they try to arrest him...he resit's majorly...because he is on drug's..every action he does is consitant with a drugged out person.

The cop's DO NOT need to stand there and wait for him to hit or what ever.
He was told DUDE it is against the law to be naked..
And he refused....then he resisted the arrest.

HE got what he had coming.

The only crime the cop's did was let him stay naked so long.
They tried to baby talk this pervert for to long.

Come on who is proud of running naked when if you watch the video he has a 2 inch penis.

I think the intention's was to film him refusing to put cloth's on to get the video.
to try to make cop's look bad.

Where to start!!!

First off I have to agree with others here that the police where doing their job, and they followed all the rules to the book on how to handle a person on Drugs(Clearly this guy is on '___' or Mushrooms). I don't see why officers have to take the flak all the time, their there to protect you, and if tomorrow some crazed dude on PCP threatens your life, they will put their one the line to save your butt!!
Lets not forget that that the main cause of police brutality or excessive use of force is the antagonism they receive every day from the people they swore to protect. US police officers are exemplary when compared to other countries, and I really get pissed when people talk bad about em.
I can see rage over cases like the SF muni incident, but for this one
for the officers.

Heck ya! Another reason for people to keep their drawers on, at least.

Not everyone has good junk in their trunk!

I guess not letting it hang out, lends a tad of mystery to life, and I am all for that!

Resisting arrest and resisting putting clothes on is not the same thing.
Furthermore, getting a knee in the stomach is standard procedure for someone not wanting to put their clothes on at a festival where nudity is accepted?

Do they even have the right to grab him and force his clothes on him? Yes I know it's illegal to be naked in public, but it is a paganfest. Oh and to the poster that tried that lame attempt at a "But what about the children?" If you take your kids to paganfest chances are they know and have seen a naked body before. Like nudity is the worse thing you could see.

Was there a sign posted at the gate, that clothing was optional if you are a pagan?

Sorry, the rules for nudity, have to follow for the community as they are, not just for a festival!

Perhaps the guy was a tad over the limit on some substance, and decided that he would make a point?

He got what he deserved, if he did not check out the nudity laws for the community holding the festival.
