No problem man, just saying society's views on the human body in general are hypocritical at best, and down ridiculous at worst.

So remind me...when was the last time we voted on what kind of public nudity is acceptable? Was there ever a vote on that? Aren't the laws supposed to be for the people & by the people?

Oh wait, it was already indoctrinated so that must mean it's right...just like the patriot act too huh?

Like I said, nothing will happen to the cops, they had the doctrine on their side on this one. Everyone's seemingly lust for violence & disgust at the human form is probably the most disappointing thing about the comments/attitudes which obviously is the sentiment that creates the doctrine which forced these cops to do what they did.

Although I think the knee in the gut was completely unnecessary and people have died from contiunous shock like they did to him...but hey he did do that horrible-horrible crime ***SARCASM ALERT*** of disrobing (literally ). Beatings, torture, & electrocution...I guess that is the American way now...

-shrugs-

Are u f serious?

If I was there I would shoot him if I had the chance!

Oh wait? would shooting him be against the law?

Damn I'm not sure what's right or wrong, all I know is that the law is the right thing and nothing else matters. We should NEVER question the law. We don't know what right or wrong is, that's why we have laws!

SARCASM ALERT.

Bull! It's just a bunch of adolescents acting like the children they are. They do it for attention. Otherwise they would not do it at public events.

No brutality. Just a overgrown child who thinks its funny to goad Cops into doing something they don't really want to do. He probably figured he would be a YouTube celebrity.

If these are the Wizards who used to meet on that Island in the San Juan's in the 70's and 80's, one of their founders is an old friend. He grew up though and became an adult.

Those who don't want to see him naked and the children in particular have a right to not have to deal with idiots. When he respects others rights and the law, only then will he have credibility. He just wanted attention. He should either sober up or seek psychiatric attention.

Oh well. When he grows up he can tell his Grandchildren what a hero he was exposing his genitals to a crowd for fun. Heck, he may have saved the Universe.

The problem is that in a civil society, everyone has rights; not just the juveniles in our society. There is no reason to do what he did other than to cause trouble and to get attention which is sad if you think about it. This person needed attention so badly he resorted to that. Perhaps some counseling would help him or if it was drug and alcohol induced some treatment for that.

When you are in public, you are in everyone's house and it is not hard to act responsibly.

There are plenty of nude beaches and colonies he could go to if that is his thing. Showing off his thing I mean.

So, by that reasoning, I could smoke crack on the street corner and so long as I wasn't bothering anyone it is fine.

By my reasoning, if you were smoking crack that wouldn't give the police the right to tackle you with brute force and taze you on the ground. You aren't hurting anyone but yourself by smoking crack, and this fellow wasn't hurting anyone by being nude.

I'm one of those people... what do you call them... Constitutionalists. I believe in the inalienable rights of man that our country was founded upon. Apparently many in our country have forgotten those rights, but that doesn't make them any less applicable.

Police have tasers for a reason: to immobilize, in a nonlethal manner, suspects that intend to cause harm to the officers or others. This fellow wasn't intending harm on anyone, and he certainly didn't deserve any harm himself. All too often we are seeing police officers use tasers as just another means of detaining people, which is absolute bull# and against the law.

Its a religious practice. Look it up. You are only showing yourself to be ignorant and insensitive to the Pagan religion.

The police officers used unnecessary force. That is the definition of brutality.

True, but they would definitely have the right to arrest me. If I resisted, then they have the right to do what is necessary to arrest me, including hitting me with a taser if need be.

Again I say, look at the video at 2:45...he seems to be reaching for the gun on the cops belt...that is a definite NO NO.

Bull! It is a religious practice to go naked in public and act like a horses ass? What religion is that?

If this is the Wizards that evolved from the group my friend started, it was a giant drunken, drug laced party not a religion. He looked silly in his robe. He grew up and moved on.

If part of the religion is exposing ones self in public and in front of children it is one crap religion. Do they do other things in front of children behind closed doors?

It seemed to me the cops made it a spectical, the crowd only seemed mildly interested before they start persisting. By the time the wrestling started & taser came out, they had a full on disapproving crowd.

So I ask you this...who was really put in danger in this situation & why? How dangerous is the sight of a naked man, really?

And last...and obviously the most important...

***HUGE SARCASM ALERT***

Are you thinking...of the children?

I watched the video. It was amusing in a sort of way. Not the tazering part, though. I saw no need to tazer the guy. Three big bad policemen couldn't take down this guy? WTF? He obviously isn't a muscle man, so what was the difficulty? Did some wizard cast a spell on these cops that made them weak as the little kittens upstairs in a box in my house?

I'm going to a pagan festival in June in Western Kentucky and I sure hope this wizard doesn't show up. I now have to go stick my face in a vat of bourbon to get the scene of this wizard out of my mind. But, ladies, please feel free to attend and take your clothes off.

It's Paganism. Read my post before you go off on a tirade of ignorance.

The practice is referred to as being Skyclad, as in, clad by nothing but the sky. (Clad means clothed, for the old-english challenged among us.)

You might think he looked silly in his robe, but to many it is a legitimate religious practice. You are proving your intolerance with your thoughtless remarks. And the remarks about pedophilia are simply uncalled for.

So if a cop touches an innocent citizen when detaining for no reason (which happens a lot) does that mean the public have a right to retaliate using near-fatal force? Imagine photographers going postal because the police dared to cover their cameras...

I dont know when public nudity was mandated as a law,but I mean really if there are children in the crowd do you honestly think its ok for a guy to be standing there swingin dick?

At a pagan festival, certainly.

But I have enough respect for the person who is offended by a naked man..Its a justifiable reason to..Wearing a cross isnt, like someone said, thats silly

Has there ever been a recorded case of death by nudity? Please feel free to share if you have. The cross however, is a sign of death - many people were killed on it or even in the name of it, if we think logically then surely more people have a right to be offended by a cross than the human body (which we all own).

Personally, I think it's daft to be offended by either of those examples in this day and age... sure, keep pornography away from children (I'm not advocating that) but there is nothing wrong with the naked human form as such, it is only your conditioning (read brainwashing) that has resulted in your disdain. Why are you not openly critical of adverts that rely on the sexualisation of women's bodies in particular which are shown to all age groups at any time of day? Hell, they even market thongs to pre-teens - which to you is more dangerous: sexualising children or innocent naked wizards?
