Has anybody noticed more of a police presence lately?

i live in new york state (lower hudson valley) and about the last 4 months or so ive noticed a lot more state troopers,county sheriffs and city/town police presence around my area. anybody else notice this? also i was wondering if anybody knows if police are putting radar detectors on the trunks of their cruisers now? ive noticed quite a few police cars with what look to be like 2 radars on each side of the trunk, pointing slightly outward and facing toward the front of the cruiser.

Summer and good weather is coming, people are out more, driving more with the lower gas prices, and so are the police.
This topic gets posted about every other week.

If you're worried about the NWO, the local LEOs will be the last to find out, believe me.

I was sitting in the passenger seat of a car belonging one of Marion's
'boyfriends' an as he cooed and laughed with her, I looked out at the
passing countryside and flinched as we passed a large bill board.

Behind the bill board, I turned in my seat and ignoring the two young
Latino boys that were also fawning over Marion, I peered out of the
rear window at the receding structure.

There was a Police car and a large dark blue van between the board
and some bushes, the van had a radar-like dish on the roof and I also
noticed a guy up a telegraph pole, he had lots of equipment with him.

Who are those guys?

those arent radars...they are license plate readers...its new in NYS...about a year old....besides...in NYS there are less police because Patterson put the PD on a hiring freeze in general to save $$....if it were a "police state"....we'd all know...it wouldnt even be a question....
