To fully understand the true dynamics at play... one must take a page from Prof Chomsky:

and Professor Carlin:

(Disclaimer: for those who get easily offended by colorful language... don't watch this.)

If we can raise people's awareness to such a level, we could change our country and in turn the world for the better... but as long as we have a large portion of the populous that is so easily influence by the likes of the neo-cons, we have no chance in hell.

Hi my friend! Thanks for your thoughtful reply to my last response to you and the wise words you shared.

I thought it best to not further elaborate or respond further to what we discussed in our posts to one another so that the thread could keep on topic.

Have you read Heinlick's "Job a commedy of Justice" not saying the Republicans or Democrats won't take us to Hell in their quest to rule and destroy life as we know it, but Hell might be a more user friendly place than what these guys are aiming for!

You are very right about another thing though in that the NeoCon agneda is particuarly dangerous to those who seek a truly democratic society.

So called conservative republican principals based on devout faith to a Single and Singular Christian God that no plurality exists elliminates any opposing form of view through that absolute belief system for any one to discuss, debate, oppose or challenge as there would be no diversity and no differing oppinion once fully integrating that so called written in "stone" Biblical Christian Law, that if there was even any need to write or have a constitution for such a government that constitution's preamble would have to be written like this...In the beggining there was only darkness...

Dangers sure can abound when those that lead that profess they can illuminate and light the darkness do so in a very fixed and rigid way in a world that is far more fluid than that singular rigid approach can adequately anticipate and responsively, responsibly and wisely react to using such a narrow beam to light the way.

The death of Democracy is mixing Church with State, and binding the State with the Churches singular not plural view in the process.

In my humble oppinion that clarion call to arms of the extremely polarized singlular narrow view of the Neocon Agenda is a determined effort to create a school of thought and principal so emboldened it comes replete with the belief in a divine right and rightesnous to supercede, and dominate, supress, marginalize and elliminate any other forms of competing ideals and direction through that flawed circular assumption and belief.

Very much like some nation's just that implied and imagined belief that they might one day come under attack becomes their galvanizing excuse to elliminate anyway possible any possible threat and yes, that sure would be the end of democracy.

While the 'democratic' left appears to be trying to develop a binding idealogy of their own that may one day develop in to a strong enough and seemingly credible enough written in stone and no longer debated amongst it's core proponents set of values, that they too might then choose to try to eliminate all opposition too, the democratic left does not have that idealogy anywhere complete yet, settled, to impose, and may not any time soon or ever.

The Neocons do though have their singular idealogy set in stone and are ready enough to roll with it, and could and even soon if they can embolden its members through some clarion call to action.

Threats abound to the left and the right, but that is for right now the most formidable threat to the ellimination of representative democracy.

Darn that Laura Bush for being so cute, that school teacher/librarian look gets me every time.

Good post my friend.

In their latest attempt to realign themselves with all that’s good with America, FOX News has launched a website very similar to the layout of Alex’s Jones’ Infowars. Known as Fox Nation; the most blatant attempt yet at how the Right Wing paradigm is trying to reabsorb all of the elements of conservative society who saw through Bush. The very same “fringe” they were just months ago calling radical, and deserve to be in camps.

Apart from the website, Glenn Beck is now supporting the (Ron Paul) tax parties and Anne Coulter is suddenly throwing her support behind “everything” Ron Paul stood by, showing that the once powerful neo-con cheerleaders are more desperate than ever to get any kind of credibility.

I think it's paramount to our survival and progress, that we keep a very close eye on the evolution of this dis-ease that nearly killed us. You could say that all our attempts in repairing this broken country thus far, is a form of chemotherapy (ie bailouts). The neo-cons have to adapt/change-form to improve their chances to be a contender in the next staged fight/election.

Good Thread.

I had not even realized that the new Fox site was a direct rip off of info-wars.

There is one way to innoculate oneself from being effected by this sort of Icke-ian shape-shifting and that is to firmly position one-self on the Far Right with Occult National Socialists, Historical Revisionists (in reality they are Conspiracy Theorists in all but name only), and Emergent New Ideologies (like International Third Position) where all neo-cons fear to tread!!!

Here's an interesting find... the Bush-Era Neo-Con think tank Project for the New American Century (PNAC) has mutated into the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD). Yes the very PNAC that wrote in section five of "Rebuilding America's Defenses" (pdf format), entitled "Creating Tomorrow's Dominant Force":

Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event––like a new Pearl Harbor.

published September 2000

Former heads of PNAC Bill Kristol and Richard Perle are now steering FDD. Even more intriguing is the board, most notably Louis Freeh, FBI Director from Sept 1, 1993 – June 25, 2001. Now when we consider John O'Neill, head of FBI's Counter-Terror under Freeh, knew more about Osama Bin Laden than anyone alive at the time, leaves the FBI shortly after Freeh to head WTC security and goes down with the towers. Makes me ponder the possibility that Freeh played a role in the equation/coincidence.

For those who need a primer on the PNAC:

Another noteworthy mutation ...that has recently been revealed by a new lawsuit. The notorious mercenary firm, Blackwater is working under a different name now... the International Republican Institute in Iraq, with a significant neocon insider, McCain has served as board chairman of IRI since 1993. source:

According to SourceWatch:

Loosely affiliated with the Republican Party, the International Republican Insitute (IRI) works closely with the the National Endowment for Democracy and United States foreign policy instruments, including the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Agency for International Development, to support economic and political development programs around the world. The organization is almost exclusively funded by the U.S. government and related agencies.

Under the cover of spreading democracy and a free-market economic system, the IRI installs U.S.-friendly governments and undermines those that are not by supporting coups and ousters.
