Winning Pick 3 Number in Illinois were 6-6-6 the day after Obama was elected President.

I read this just today, I am surprised I didn't see this on ATS already but oh well.

Obama was elected Nov. 4 as we all know.

On Nov. 5, the Pick 3 winning numbers for his home state were 6-6-6.

Additionally, the Pick 4 numbers, for the same day Nov. 5, were 7-7-7-9. Seven being God's perfect number as shown over and over in the Bible. The number 9 has great significance too, but I need to research that one.

What are the chances? How many more "coincidences" will any one person ignore?

The probability on a given day, assuming equal distrbution from 000-999 and a drawing in 50 states that day is: 1 - (999/1000)^50 ~= 4.88%.

I don't know how many states actually draw a pick 3 on a given day though so I just guessed 50. I'm sure that can be refined.

Obama was born Aug 4, 1961. His birthdate is day 216 that year and the number 216 is 6 x 6 x 6!

The total number of letters in Obama's name is 18 (6+6+6) -- also the verse number of the 666 scripture in Revelation chapter 13 (Rev. 13:18)!

There's more, there's lots more.

my point is not bush vs obama, it is that it is just silly to worry about silly little coincidences like the numbers drawn in the ohio state lottery when there are real and disturbing issues to consider.

I was born on 3/23 and 3+3=6 and 2/3=.666 and omgosh I MUST BE SO EVIL.
And, and, and I was born at 2:33 and 3+3=6 and I just realized omgosh 2 times 3=6 TOO!!!!

You know, now that you mention it I don't think religion has ever been an issue with any other president. Why now? You make an extremely valid point.

As to why it matters, I suspect we will know in time. It could possibly be his public mocking of the Bible, after he claimed to be a Christian, that got so many people's attention.

I don't think even atheists want a liar for a President do they?

For those of you who blow this off as some coincidence, you need to take a lesson in probability or statistics or just have a better understanding of mathematics in general.

The chances of the winning pick three numbers and the winning pick four numbers of 666 and 7779 in the home state of Obama the day after his election are astronomically low. Of course, for arguement sake, there still is a "chance" this is just a coincidence, but when you combine it with all the other signs pointing towards Obama possibly not having our "best interests" in mind, it's very hard to ignore. In fact, according to some staticians, the chance of this occuring are 1x10^-9, or 0.000000001%, or 1/3x10^9, or 1 in 3 billion. whichever way you look at it, that's an insanely low probability.

Another strange coincidence: Barack Hussein Obama has a Gematria value of 501. That's nothing special. However, Barack means "blessed" in Hebrew, Hussein means "handsome" in Hebrew, and Obama is an african word meaning "leaning". The Gematria values for blessed + handsome + leaning = 246 + 268 + 152 = 666.

Seriously, what are the chances of a man rising to the highest power in the world from seemingly nothing, having a bunch of terrorist friends, a racist and insane "spiritual leader", and having all these signs going against him?
