Nature is once again showing that we humans, who it seems get upset at the first sign something doesn't run like clockwork (WHY????), is being shown yet again that stuff happens at random and for no apparent reason.

Just because we can't see sunspots on our side of the Sun, who said they weren't occurring like crazy on the other side?

Many people thought the Earth was flat until they proved it by looking from above and seeing it is an oblique spheroid.

Once again, not worried. Life goes on, etc...

I live in Michigan, and didn't see any snow yesterday. Maybe it snowed somewhere else in the state, but so what? We sometimes get a light dusting of snow in April; that is not all that unusual. It was in the 50's today and gorgeous. Friday it will be in the 70's. That's Michigan for ya.
So far, it's been a pretty typical spring.

Well, looks like an increase in recent solar activity has gathered pace. How long will it last though?
