So this was what the sky looked like last Thursday above Dallas/Fort Worth ...

The arc is produced by plate oriented crystals and is a close relation to the circumzenithal arc. Light rays enter the almost vertical crystal side faces and leave via the lower horizontal face (ray path 3-1). The refraction of the almost parallel sun's rays through faces inclined at 90° produces pure, bright and well separated prismatic colours ~ purer than those of the rainbow. The colours are at their best when the crystal tilts are smallest. Large crystal tilts produce more pastel hues.

I never saw this before...exept in China right before the big 7.8 magintute quake hit in 2008.

Better strap down those waterboilers and find a save place to hide 'cause the big one is coming!!!!!!.........

On the other hand it could very well be just circumhorizontal arc.....

nice pics OP, S+F

No earthquakes in Dallas the last couple of days so we can safely conclude these are Circumhorizon Arcs.

Yes, but only if it's a jewish cloud.

Or if it's HAARP.
