Anyone know that classic quote about conspiracy theories and the Templars?

I don't have too much to go on here, but there is a somewhat famous (I think) quote to the effect that every crackpot, tinfoil-hat conspiracy theory out there eventually works its way around to mentioning the Knights Templar somehow.

I can't even remember the exact words used...whether it was "lunatics" or "crackpots" or "conspiracy nuts" or whatever...nor can I remember the quote's author...but I've seen it multiple times. It might be phrased something like: "you can stop reading as soon as the Templars come up," or maybe "once a conspiracy theory mentions the Templars, its time to toss the book in the garbage." Or maybe its "Every madman out there will mention the Templars sooner or later." Something to that general effect.

If anyone knows the actual wording and source, I'd be most grateful.
