I think it is an ice fragment.
In a recent thread, Phage posted some amazing pictures of ice fragments as filmed from the space shuttle.
I can't recall exactly which thread it was, but it was in one of the several NASA UFO threads that have started during the past few weeks.

Yes, it is ice which comes from the nozzles of the main engines. As described here:

Everything I know about it is what Mike Fossum says about it in the video. The nozzles which the ice forms on are 2.4 meters across at the mouth so my guess is that the ice "sheets" would be about 4-7 meters long at the most.
