Sighting 12yrs ago

Heellooo, just about 12 years ago, my then boyfriend and I (we live in zee beeooteeful island of Trinidad & Tobago) were in my porch. As is my habit I was watching the skies and out of God knows where, there was this green light just bouncing around, zipping from left to right, up and down. Unfortunately, by the time I called out my Mom it left. Can anyone tell me if this was a UFO or a possible experiment of some sort of new aircraft. I tried telling other friends, but they didn't believe me, so I stopped telling anyone about it.

Can you give more detail like size and distance and all that stuff.

what about moon? Full? and clarity.

The light was small. Can't remember noticing the moon, and I'm a moon lover. The night was clear, that I remember. Not too sure if a moon was present though.

Hasn't ball lightning been reported in clear skies?

But ball lighting doesn't move that fast does it? I thought it sort of just glided around and stuff?
