I found your thread just last week. When you created it, we were still in the throes of no power from stupid Paloma. ha Last week, I spent a coupla nights listening to EVERYTHING here. WOW!!! What an eclectic and impressive collection!

Michael Hedges - [gone too soon] playing Aeriel Boundaries

Stanley Jordan playing Return Expedition w/Charnett Moffett on Bass

And just for something different, something I'm learning right now. I asked my Bride one day, "listen to this and tell me if you recognize it?" (she knows the song - Muse - Assassin) She listens for a few minutes as I attempt the into... and says, and I quote........ "Are you trying to play the theme song from Nightrider??" AHGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!! (very calmly - "No, darlin', that's not it. I'll practice more." haha

Muse - Assassin

(the song starts at 1:22)

Enjoy! I've had a great time in your thread....... many memories!!!

I've only done that twice - all the way through

I skip around a lot - love this collection

it is pretty eclectic - like I've said - I really love hearing what other people love - and who/what they know

haven't started in on yours yet - will be fun :-)

liked all 3 - very much - that was eclectic

but the Jordan/Moffett - you know how sometimes you don't know what you're in the mood for until you hear it?

that bass almost made me crazy - beautiful

You RAT! I saw what you left on my comments
That's it. It's on.
..... funny.... :up

yeah, Charnett Moffet (I think that's the right spelling) is amazing, isn't he? The whole performance just draws a person in. I know what you mean about not knowing you were in the mood for it until you heard it -- that happened to me years ago, the first time I heard Michael Hedges. I said, "who are they"? when I heard a cut from his first album. They were just he, and I saw him play four times before his death in '97.

Did I mention that I love this thread??? Yah. BTW, my "assasin" intro STILL sounds like @#$@% nightrider. There's only one solution that I can see -- more power. It's time to clear the wild roosters out of the back yard/bush anyway; they need to battle for vocal dominance somewhere else.

I love themes

I suck at themes - you need a memory for that

gawd - I forget that at one time Mick Jagger was a mere child - was good though

I have nothing to contribute tonight - besides smart ass remarks - if I leave here and go foraging in youtube I will never come back

or - I'll show up at around 2:00 am with a bunch of stuff that makes no sense - maybe not even guitar - probably obscure sitar pieces and some cartoons :-)

the second one whaaa - really nice - I could listen to this all night
