The US has published four secret memos detailing legal justification for the Bush-era CIA interrogation programme.

Critics of the programme say the methods used amounted to torture.

President Barack Obama has also issued a statement guaranteeing that no CIA employees will be prosecuted for their role in the interrogation programme.

I have seen a lot of opinions recently, about whether or not these would be hidden away and lost, the answer at last, I hope this means that we will see what really went on, what was hidden, and how to stop it ever happening again.

I always believed, to hide the truth, would be a huge mistake, this tells me things are really changing, more openness? will it really happen.
