There is no sincerity regarding this blog. It is clearly propaganda and is labeled as such. Think about it, why would Obama supporters take the time to state that their site is propaganda? It doesn't make sense.

Why? Just because you say so and because they have the word propoganda on their site? Hahaaa... Seriously, propoganda can take either the form of trying to discredit someone OR credit someone. Only recently has the word "propoganda" come to be seen as primarily a negative thing.

Why is it so hard to believe that people may be worshipping him? Sounds like you're just scared because that would put a tinge in your own mind about him.

What about all of the artwork on the site? Are all these published artists also mocking him? Oh, and let's not forget the gallery showing of all of the Obama messiah portraits in NY. Hmmm...

I really can't blame you if it does scare you ... it seriously scares me!

While they've removed it the evidence will reveal itself via archive.org when their cache surfaces several months from now (material becomes available 6 months after collection).

Now, beyond the parody/satirical status, what most disturbed me about the site: the photo from late February 09, showing a bowed headed Obama with the seal of the president serving as a HALO for his head. This photo is NOT a coincidence, Obama does this on purpose. The question is, WHY?

I myself am a very extreme liberal, yet I can see through the photos in a snap. He is choosing to send this message out, for the ones who WILL idolize him!

This blog is not creepy, OBAMA is the creepy one!!

Such an amazing piece of satire, they did well with this.

Decent satirists can take something like Barack (just one man) Obama and make it seem like the world thinks he's Jesus. Bremner, Bird & Fortune ran some excellent pieces over here in the UK, would love to see some state-side-of-the-pond work on this.

Edit: Wierdly I had a dream that I was playing basketball with Obama the other night... From what I remember he was trying too hard to be the 'ordinary guy'... What's really out of whack is I've not a damn clue how to play basketball!

Honestly, I think Barak Obama is a brilliant man with a vision, nothing less, nothing more. However, I will say that there are many who have expounded him as if he were some type of "Messiah." I think it's rather ludicrous.

Ok, people have made a good argument for the case of this site being satirical. However, all of these things (the art, the articles, and the commentary) are from various SERIOUS non-satirical sources. This is a compilation of SOME (I'm sure there's a lot out there the guy didn't use) messiah oriented content.

The original artists, writers, and commenters that wrote this stuff were serious about it. THAT is what's scary about it.

Now Obama looks more like the actual Jesus than a blonde surfer.
Therefore if some people believe he is the second-coming
their transpositions are more accurate than the blonde surfer as Jesus image.

Obama could be a good Renaissance artist model for Jesus paintings.
Artists will make this happen in the next few years.

Whether satire or not, fact is: On this website is a huge amount of Obama-worship. Whether you call it art or stupidity. And there are only three words that suggest a satire (propaganda and sacred relics) in brackets. So, do you expect the guy on the street to recognize the site as satire? I don't think so. I think the site just adds to the craziness

Whats got me totally in freak out mode is, apparently, according to the blog archive, we are in November of 2012. What the hell? November of 2012? please somebody tell me, why? did i miss something. i just woke up, it was April 16th 2009 last i checked. Not November 4th 2012.

Is this website trying to send out messages of some sort. Am i reading too deep into this ( i realized about five seconds ago, i didn't miss three years. overactive imagination+two espressos and a turkish coffee will do that )
