Welcome to ATS.

Yours is a very thought provoking introduction.

At first take I would think you are a young boy with feminine tendencies. I would also think you to be shy and naive.

After reading a few more posts from you I must say you are bringing out the conspiracy theorist in me.

Firstly, are you really a male person in a dress or are you really a female who thinks like a boy?

You seemed to be shocked that there could possibly be bad people on our site. Have you lived your life up to now in a bubble protected from harm?

Your avatar does not match the person you are trying to cause us to believe you are. Do you really never forgive and never forget and never for fun? Oh my, that does sound a bit harsh and definitely not unworldly.

You also have a talent for being nicely offensive. That takes a special talent. We are not a group, of weird people talking about weird subjects.

I mean you no disrespect. I'm just telling you what I read between the lines. If I am proved wrong I will admit I did make my first mistake of the year.

Welcome to you.
We all have our own sense of "We are all different, yet we fit in here" kinda thing on ATS.
I also have a friend here who is so to speak, a boy in a dress.
No worries, your confidence will grow with time. We all remember our first thoughts of being here.
Never be afraid to ask for help, that's the main thing. And enjoy yourself.

Welcome to ATS! Now....... what to call you. I'm inclined to run your screen name together..... Boyinadress.... what do you think?

Y'know the truth is, from my 360 anyway, that there is no yardstick of normal that exists anywhere, at any time other than our own internal boundaries. So, if you're really a boy wearing a dress, then...... no worries (unlessYouLiveInTheNorthAndProneToChillsAndDrafts). Lots to see and do here.

Most of all, it's a place to aire the things that interest you in an atmosphere that is at least receptive to off-the-beaten-path.

Unlike Spacedoubt, what has cracked me up at least twice on your thread, some of us do not "skivvitype", however I would guess that most of us are not above using nudity as a weapon. That's one of the perks of crossing 50 that you have to look forward to.

AAaaaaaaanyway, welcome to de fray.

Phew, you're very forward!
I was a little wary until I spoke to my friend
regarding the manner of folk on this site.

She said "why... you're just a boy in a dress and
you know that you will draw attention".
I could see she'd been drinking again and I noticed
the quarterful gin bottle in her blood-red nailed talons.

She closed the ornate bedroom door on me and
I went back to my computer.
I was blue all afternoon about my friend, she was a film
star once, a long time ago. You check the files and you'll
see that Marion Mia Stark had a future in the industry.
That was sadly cut short...

So I see that this is healthy sport to poke the new
person with the proverbial stick, I have to steel myself
and endure it, and one day... one day, I'm going to be a
Super Mod!

Seriously, I'm looking forward to going out to other
threads and posting my views.
It's all very exciting.

Oh lawks! this is a funny site!
I tried to think of a name, a name that would possibly
fit in with what my friend said was a lot of weird people
that talk about strange things.
So A boy in a dress was born.

I'm not an alien, no green-skinned bug-eyed guy here!
Just A boy in a dress.

I'm still learning my way around here... but with friends
like you people, I'll be up and running very soon I believe.

Sorry about the 'bug-eyed 'thing.
I like it and I want to fit in.

No stress, no worries, Boyinnadress..... hope you don't feel assailed by us; we're just folks, like you.

You do fit in. Everybody does. It's our common love of conspiracies and intrigue that is the glue.

I like your lyrical manner of speaking. Shoot from the hip, that's my motto -- which translates into "say what you think, and own it."

Let me know if there's anything you don't understand or need help with. Somebody showed each of us the way at one time or another and we should pay that forward.

I'm sorry about your friend. It's a sad thing when a bird falls to Earth too soon.

cheers

Thank you Argentus... you're a very kind person and
you're correct, I should be stronger and 'own it's as
you say.

I'm not up on the tragic 9-11 conspiracies, or even
New World Order stuff, but I knew a boy at school that
saw Bigfoot when hiking with is pa.

If I can find my diary, I'll be able to tell you when and
where it was... I can remember his name though, it was Ned.

It's a wild, but entertaining world. I suspect you're stronger than you realize.

I had a great laugh from your previous post -- I thought for a second that you were saying that Bigfoot's name was NED

Not you, just my aged brain. I now reread it and see you were referring to the friend. Interested in reading your/his account.

Off to finish a job. y'take care

Oh and by the way - I had a cat that wore a dress too - and I never judged him - so no way I am judging a boy in a dress.

Thank you again Argentus and I hope your task is
easy and well executed.
I'll relate the tale here for when you get back from
your toil.

It was 1998 and if anyone out in Oregon can remember
it was a very hot summer. Ned is the same age as me
(if he's still alive) and at 9 years old, his pa thought it
would be good exercise for the youngster to hike up to
Izee.
Izee is a small place that Ned's father grew up in... I think
that's correct.
The pair set off eastwards with Ned's pa calling out all his
memories and haunts.
Ned told me that it around noon when they saw the shaggy
creature. It was in a moss-laden split in a huge boulder and
Ned thought it was hunting mice.

Ned said that face was human, and the hair wasn't that long.
He also said he would swear that he'd heard it giggle!

Ned's father grabbed his son by his parka and set off back
the way they'd come. Later, Ned asked why they hadn't just
watched the hairy thing eat it's lunch, as Bigfoot had been
too focused on his quarry.

Ned's pop turned to the window and peered out into the swaying
firs, his hands buried deep in his pockets.
"We don't talk about the thing out there son" he whispered and
said no more on the subject.

Ned told a couple of years later that an urban myth arose about
how the Bigfoot abducted a female and lived up there with her,
among the rocks and low moaning wind.

That's as much as my diary says about that.

Hi Mr. Soran,
If I may be so bold, you look a little like Ms. Stark's agent!
He sometimes comes to the house to see her and last week,
he brought some more gin, I was disappointed with him for
that.

But I'm sure you're a nice person and thank you for you
invitation.

Well this avatar is nice, its a boy in a dress isnt it? It reminds me of those old Enid Blyton books, I used to love those, she was an excellent author. Many of her boy characters wore dresses I just think thats what children did in those days, well not so much a dress more a smock maybe? Your avatar is very early post Victorian and its different.

Do you prefer the original Avatar Mr. LoneGunMan?
I will change it if you wish.

I came across a 'Dick & Jane ' page and decided to
'alter' it, if it makes you feel uncomfortable, I'll remove it
at once.
