Peter Schiff has something to say in the Vlog about what is going on, including how China has increased their purchasing of consumer items, compared to the U.S. consumer purchases.

If you go to the youtube link, you can subscribe to his logs and be notified when they come out.

He says something very interesting too about our MSM - and where their focus is, including where they want the American people's focus. Does he say outright, they are continually trying to distract us? No, But if you listen - you can certainly read between the lines, in what he is saying.

I think everyone here, is paying attention and has been the last few months, but we are getting closer and closer to that cliff edge, though people want to ignore it and act like it is not there.

I sincerely hope, everyone has been doing what they need to do for themselves and hinting to others the cliff is not too many turns away, until it will be upon us.

Peter Schiff, has been doing everything in his powers to inform people. He is intelligent, he knows what he is talking about, and most importantly, he is not lying to us, nor shading the truth of the matter.

yesterday's vlog - after Obama's speech:

Please listen to these vids and hear what he is saying, the one from yesterday, is excellent!

Imagine what a mature consumer driven Chinese economy would entail. They have already the means to produce domestically at incredibly low costs. Higher demand for the natural resources required to satisfy a growing consumer culture would cause those resources' prices to increase. The cost of extracting resources rises because more players have entered the game. How is the oil going to be divided?

What would they need international trade for when they already have a vast amount of land, are used to low production costs, are seeing a rise in internal demand, and are dead set on acquiring more natural resources for themselves?

If the U.S. has little to offer in exchange for those limited resources, we are left with hundreds of millions of starving people with no means to have the life they want.

I agree with Mr. Schiff in that prices need to come down for education. We need more University graduates. We need to create more complex, more useful and more in-demand goods and services so that the rest of the world will want to trade with us when these new economies, such as China, India and perhaps Brazil enter the fray as mature, competitive players.

I just see this whole thing as a simple transition onto a new economic stage. With more competitors for resources we have to be as diverse and smart as possible. We can only rely on spending to "fuel" the economy so far as long as we have very few competitors who aren't spending their own money on excessive personal rewards themselves.

People bought things that they shouldn't have bought. And so part of the solution to the problems is that we spend less money...

Honest, down-to-earth, home-cooking wisdom. All we ever hear is 'consumer-led growth' on the back of low interest debt as the way to an ever-growing economy. But Ponzi schemes always lead to ruin.

This point is so simple, yet so crucial I'll say no more despite the excellent additional content.

Great post.

All I can say is PETER SCHIFF for our next President of the United States.......Who is with me? I'm serious actually. I am so tired of this bloodline thing that these Presidents are doing ...this is a Monarchy not a Diplomacy. Dissing Cousins.

Obama has a prolific presidential lineage that features Democrats and Republicans. His distant cousins include President George W. Bush and his father, George H.W. Bush, Gerald Ford, Lyndon Johnson, Harry S. Truman and James Madison. Other Obama cousins include Vice President Dick Cheney, British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill and Civil War General Robert E. Lee.

They hand us the same old refried politicians year after year, and tell us to choose. The ones we choose get discredited for doing something like getting too excited (Howard dean) or the guy who cared about the states this last election Congressman Dennis Kussenich?, but got ridiculed for saying he thought he saw a UFO. Watch how they attack him: OK, maybe he is not a good example, a smart person, knowing what they were trying to do, (which he clearly did, you can see it on his face as soon as Russ speaks of it) would have said "this doesn't pertain to our country or it's policies" or even "I will have to decline to answer this question as per polarized national personal beliefs outside of the paradigm of serious politics", but he keeps on going and even says "wait, we're just getting started here" (open mouth and insert foot). But he did care about our country and may have even disclosed the UFO information were he to win office, who knows. BTW..so what, big deal, who hasn't seen something on one of these, it doesn't mean he can't help our country. We see demons running our country everyday and that doesn't make all of America crazy.
Then there's the funny speaking guy from Tex-ass a guy a while back that ran for President that wanted to use his own money to help us out, there's Ron Paul, Ralph Nader etc., all shot down and ridiculed just so we could have what was good for us......THESE DEVILS IN OFFICE AGAIN! What do we keep getting? The same old crap like Bushs', Clintons', Bidens', Cheney and of course Obama..... I have looked around and it seems these guys are all blood related? (see above links) Is this correct? Even if they are not ...WHY WON"T THEY JUST GO AWAY! I mean, we need some fresh policy not just the same ol dirty men (yes that means you too Hillary) with the same policies that are dressed up as something else just because there is a new generation of suckers. Why can't we just get what we want? America voted for Gore and we got Bush, America vted for Kerry....we got Bush (as if it would matter anyway, I hear Bush and Kerry are cousins). Why can't we get a guy like this in office? I am so tired of the same old microwaved dinners time and time and time again!

Yeh I've heard similar that quite a few previous presidents have blood ties somewhere down the line... thats a conspiracy theory!

I can't go scanning for links 'cos I'm at work but I've also seen some lectures where its stated that some of the presidents are related to our royal family aswell... not sure how much truth is in that but interesting nonetheless.
