The President Obama Haters.......Question

I was just wondering with the order Pres Obama gave to shoot if there was danger to the kidnapped captain of the Alabama, do the people who think everything he does is wrong, what do you think about the order? I think it is freaking great! Good to see the USA have some "stones!" I pray no one disagrees with me on this! I am sure many will

Well really that's just a matter of common sense. Obama is going to put on the facade that he's protecting Americans. How bad would it look if he just bent to the will of a few pirates?

All dog and ponny as far as I'm concerned. He is human after all.

While I dont disagree with his order, you do have to remember that these "pirates" have not harmed one single person....

I think it was pretty much of a no-brainer. Nor do I think he was the one making decisions of a tactical nature with this situation. Nor should he be.
After all, he's a politician not a hostage negotiator.


All that being said, he's still Pelosi and Reid's puppet boy, and probably bound by more political strings than any other past President has ever been.

I don't blame him for any decisions that come out of the Whitehouse... for the sole reason that I don't believe he makes any decisions, but instead has them made for him.

I think it was like ronald reagen, and the hostages released after he got elected. obama is just an actor, and siad as much today, that it was a easter thing, just like the reagen hostages.

Pr is good, when you have access to the game, and can pretend you control it.

Last time I checked, hostage taking was in the same general category, and remember we're talking about Americans here. The fact that they didn't "harm" them is irrelevant, you don't board an unarmed American vessel, hold her crew hostage and make demands of the U.S with out consequences, (on topic) the order was good, (off topic) the pirates got what they deserved and found out they had no virgins awaiting them on the other side.

Obama didn't give the order. I don't even know why you think he did. Military orders, like that one, fall on the officer commanding the mission. Obama is too busy glad-handing foreign dignitaries to get involved with this.

I'm glad that our U.S. NAVY SAILORS AND MARINES HAVE STONES!

I'm not sure how involved Obama REALLY was in this whole fiasco....if anything, it's just another distraction from real news.
This whole story is a complete joke.

Notice "hero" SEAL stories STILL top of the news.
(headlines) "3 shots end piratie crisis...." blah blah...

Yeah, real crisis.

This is a diversion. They want us to hate blacks now too so they can do their thing in Africa.

Obama had zero choice in the matter, there's a long standing policy not to negotiate with terrorists of any kind and these Pirates are Terrorists. Now the downside is he's willing to negotiate with Iran and Cuba and the list goes on, and shows a ton of hypocrisy, treat one the way you treat them all.

The Pirates got their comeuppance, so should they all.

It's not like the pirates are hijacking ships for absolutely no reason.

Other countries are dumping their nuclear wastes in Somalia's waters, and it's dangerous to the humans living there including the food supply and animals.

So they have "pirates" patrol their ocean's borders.

"Pirates", "Terrorists", what's next "Patriot Rebels"?

They twist the words around and make certain groups look bad.

Look at Cheney now there's a full blown terrorist.

While I do not condone taking hostage for ransom, I don't like the fact that three lives (Somali pirates) were lost to one (the hostage). All are human and life is valuable. The danger for not getting what they want could have lead to the death of the hostage.

I expect the Navy Seals to get 'more credit' over Obama. After all, the snipers are the ones who got the job done AND risked their own lives, too!

While I can see why the pirates were dealt with in this manner, there will now be 10 more 'pirates' waiting to join the 'Somali Coast Guard'...

I think we need to start addressing core issues and not symptoms. I think they should stop over-fishing Somali waters, which apparently is the main reason for all of the piracy.

I believe that's why the majority of the eye-patch peg-leggers want to hold up cargo ships.

I was listening to a radio program which comes on the U.S East Coast time zone from 12 to 3 and I hear this caller talking about Hillary Clinton. He says Hillary called the pirates criminals so why didn't the police in Somalia arrest them

Then the caller claims President Obama is a murderer because he has given the order to kill Civilians!!! OMG, and WTF!!! Was President Obama supposed to leave Captain Richard in the sea for shark bait? Was the Navy supposed to babysit the dinghy and fail to execute this flawless mission?

Good greif at least this administration didn't invade Somalia.

I do believe you are misunderstanding one issue here however, and that is the fact that President Obama never gave any order to "shoot". The CIC simply signed off on a Standing Order authorizing the use of force, and he minded his own business, which respectfully allowed for the On Scene Commanders to make their own decisions.

President Obama should not be given credit for any "Active" Role he supposedly played in this situation, but rather for the "Passive" Role he took part in, which resulted in the MIL being allowed to finally do their jobs.

"Over fishing" has NOTHING to do with the Piracy as it stands now. This factor was an original issue, but it ceased being a topic of concern the moment that Ransom Money became a realized source of income for countless Somalis.

Besides, the "Over fishing" issue is a common point of conflict between African Nations, but it rarely involves Western or European Nations. You should not treat the Somalis as any sort of victims, they are like anyone else in this world, and that means they must face the consequences behind their illicit and violent actions.

As I said, I dont disagree with Obama's orders.

Still doesnt change the fact that we are authorizing deadly force against a group that has not killed anyone. That USED to be unamerican.

They got what they deserved? You need to do a little more research on the topic. These people are people destroyed, and are taking the only action they can to provide some sort of a standard of living.

I wonder if you would feel the same if you economy was destroyed, your ecosystem raped, you livelihood stolen...would you not take action to provide for yourself?

A: I hate no one. People make me really friggen frustrated sometimes by ignorant or deliberate nothings..but i dont hate.

C: I by nature and sheer lifes will, agree more with the libertarian viewpoints and tend to severely dispise with venomous words, anything that threatens this paradigm of well..liberty. Not just liberty..personal liberty.

This is something that socialists dellusion themselves with. They think that they, themselves are by some intellectual rite. More empowered than others. THey us techniques to persuade or browbeat over time as the swindle or use you in their facade of the real.

I think cities are mass dellusionment centers and people who love over worldlisms are deceiving themselves in the end and will kick themselves because of this one day.

I think that for a world, with knowledge just as of late that we are not alone and earth may not be all it appears, that potential is rising for a clash of civilisations due to stubborn lies and ignorant self dellusions made insanity, and during these times many microcosmic cursings and blessingings amidst our real lives. And we are seeing a collsion of mass fiction against life fact. When they collide they always reveal the winner, life facts of course. The fiction is our self created, world endowed mindsets we select off the category shelf of total and utter B.S.-mostly.

Nothing happens by accident in politics. If you watch the news and see something, wonder why the media WANTS you to see it. Listen to the biases of the reporters and anchors and listen to their little comments and remarks. Broadcast time is precious and there isn't ONE STORY that you hear about that isnt being told to you for some reason or another... Some corporate or political entity could stand to benefit, social control, public opinion engineering...

If you see Obama or ANY politician doing or saying anything, consider why. Look between the lines, look passed the message face at the true meaning and substance, the intended message. Consider the target audience. Once you learn to do these things it becomes easy to spot the agendas. Don't be afraid to sound ridiculous to yourself, don't dismiss your suspicians immediately simply because they seem ridiculous to you. The truth is often stranger than fiction...
