Good clip!
George Carlin has some perspective to add to life, and is very good at making it funny even if he doesn't agree with you.
The best part of this clip, to me, was the "prayer and plan" part of it. I know he was being satirical, but it's a good piece of talk to think on.

How about "Don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things.........."
or to keep in topic "Atheism is a non-prophet organization."

Now please understand me, I condemn NO one for what they do or do not believe, I have no right to judge anyone; especially not ME. So please do not be
offended as I am merely presenting some facts for you to consider:
King Cyrus of Persia is named 410 years BEFORE he was born in Isaiah 44:28 and 45:1; a study of those verses ALSO foretell exactly how he would
capture Babylon by an open river gate. History records from several sources that when Daniel the prophet met King Cyrus of Persia after the fall of
the city and showed him the prophecies that included his name and method of victory, he was so impressed that he issued his “there is no other God
but the God of Daniel” proclamation.
There are over 23 scientific discoveries recorded several thousand years BEFORE man’s discovery of them in the oldest book in the Bible Job. One so
shocking a NASA Scientist got saved when showed his HOT new observation from the Hubble was not so ‘new’ after all.
Ivan Panin PROVED that every book in the Bible is exactly WHERE and HOW it should be as all Koine Greek and Hebrew letter has a numerical value.
Indeed, he proved that you could reconstruct a missing verse FROM the Bible using algebraic equations. He showed how the first 16 verses of Matthew
Chapter 1 could not have come from the minds of men, as there are 144 mathematical functions of 7 conditions met by those verses. Even today with our
super computers we could not reconstruct those interlocking functions of 7. Dr. Panin hand wrote over 44,000 pages of mathematical discoveries that
are so amazing that his published prize of 10,000 dollars in the New York Times for anyone who could disprove them has never been claimed. Even Albert
Einstein announced that he had proved out Dr. Panin’s equations.
NONE of the mathematical integrity Mr. Panin proved for the Bible held for ANY OF THE “LOST BOOKS” of the Bible; he spent much time in researching
this very topic. The Apocryphal books can mathematical be shown to be products of men.
There are many more amazing facts of the Bible I could share with you, but true faith comes from ones own personal search. If your interested ask and
I’ll share them and answer any questions you might have.
Just one more point; 400+ years BEFORE the Romans cast the Jews out of Jerusalem, God said they would be. THEN 2850+ BEFORE they returned to Israel
God said they would and that would be proof HE WAS GOD. Pretty good guess don’t cha know!
God IS a Mathematician:

In my opinion, nobody woll ever receive that prize money as Ivan's "claims" may never be deciphered........
It's all a bit too numerically involved for my liking.
There are far too many layers here to dig through for me.
Anyway, happy digging, and in the meantime if you fancy a change of pace, watch the video link........

Thank you for the thread and your kind and thoughtful replies; proof once again that a discussion on any topic can be civil, literate and urbane if
those involved in the discussion are.
I will see the videos. I’ve watch George Carlin many times and have laughed until I almost passed out.
Hope to have a discussion with you again! Peace out!

Geo C was another likable clown but no amount of laughter can get you right with God- only sinless man can be in fellowship with God
So that leaves everyone out in the cold eh..
Including God.
So... He decided to rectify that condition since He loves us , and
since Sin , [ the original sin of rebellion we committed in the garden of Eden ] must be paid for with clean blood and non was to be had then in this
fallen cursed world- He the sinless one, allowed Himself to be murdered on the cross for all men's salvation
The bad news is that we are all condemned to death and lost because of our original sin
The good news is that we can be redeemed and have fellowship with God again through that supreme sacrifice- if we personally accept it for
ourselves
Christ said- NO man comes unto the father except through me
The only way we can really please God is to accept what He has done through us through Christ- to reject His gift is to reject life!
the Book of John says it much better
shalom!

I like George Carlin alot, he's right under Bill Hicks IMO. George actually took from Bill Hicks a few time in his act in regards to religion, but
that is not a bad thing, but good. And also doesn't mean he directly took from Bill, who knows, because such things are somewhat obvious to alot of
people, just that Bill said them first, and most people don't know Bill and so George is known more etc.
But anyway. Just wanted to point out the George also quotes proverbs in that act, and says never forget it. Which IMO shows that while he was
happy to point out and laugh at the silly traditions of men, the hypocrisy and so forth, but obviously understood and knew there was wisdom in there.
Which makes him legit IMO, and is one reason I like him a good bit. Same with Bill Hicks, bashes religion and such, but if you look at what they
actually understand and such, then you see they are a bit deeper than most.
For me, I don't have to wonder what the new religion that comes after Christ, in his name and does many terrible things in his name while serving and
walking a path of death and destruction will be(is) called. But don't think I'm fool enough to equate the actions/fruits of those people with
Jesus, when he says to do specifically the opposite and warns of such things.

I miss GC, so sad to see him pass, but he was getting very old and you could see it in his last show. He was the thinking mans comic.
I also feel that organized religion are just one big BS story. If many knew the real truths that many different religions keep hidden then many would
not follow them I feel. I say believe in what you want, pray to what ever GOD or for that matter block of wood you want....just don't try and force
your belief on others.

This is true except dying is the easy part...it's living that is the hard part.
Amazing to think we start the dying process the second we are born.

I expected a bit more possitive response to good old George Carlin..........
It seems as though the comedian in many of us is being strangled by our desires to absolve the world of all it's problems.
Come on guy's, you gotta have a laugh sometime...............
