For curiosity, I began looking through the members board, I noticed a few beginning members have since been banned.

But what I found when I went to the last pages of members, ones that have just joined today and so on. There have been quite a few people banned the same day they joined.

I just wondered, what is it, those people do to get banned immediately?

I know the T &C 's will get you censored and posts will be wiped off with a point penalty.

But what I don't know, is what have people done, that have been so extreme that they have been banned the very same day they join? Or even those members who seemed to be a part of the community with lots of postings?

Anybody know what type of things they do?

I am just asking out of curiosity. I always like to find out what I can and make sure I never make the same mistakes.

Oh, I just found a thread titled "How not to get banned on ATS"

www.abovetopsecret.com...

OOpps, says questioning the bans will be frowned upon.

Yikes......

Mods if you want to close this thread, because I have questioned what people do to get banned the same day they join, go ahead.

I didn't know.... I was just browsing through ATS trying to discover things I have not looked at before and in my normal fashion...... I began questioning.... the things.

No need

Bannings as you may know are not discussed at all here on ATS. Experience has shown that to be nothing more than a drama fest.

Bannings can occur for reasons not apparent by looking at someones post history. Could have been a hostile u2u or actions in chat that lead to the banning. Or it could be an objectional user name that has to be re-registered.

Bannings only occur after a discussion amongst the staff. Admin and owners also take part.
