Reportedly, a wave of “tea parties” have brought about a great number of protesters. They constantly have "huge turnouts" for their events, as more and more Americans grow angry with the government. Yet, 1 of their recent challenges is figuring out why "Bush-administration cheerleaders (Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Malkin)" are acting as if they support the tea parties.

Still, the patriots at these tea parties continue to have a large numbers of supporters that are taking action against the government.

GNN.tv - DailyPaul.com

Like many of you I get the sense that our movement is being hijacked. Over the last couple of years, as our numbers grew and our influence increased, I’ve often wondered how the establishment would try to take down our movement. Would they demonize the patriots in the media like they did in the 90’s? Would they try to infiltrate our movement and set up their own false leaders from within like they’ve done with other political movements? I’ve been waiting to see what the establishment would do because I knew that day would come. They can ignore us for only so long. Well, it appears they are taking another route by attempting to co-opt the movement, keep people locked into left right politics, and water down the message of liberty.

I went to the Orlando Tea Party a few weeks ago. I was really encouraged to see thousands of people show up to protest the bailouts and stimulus packages. I came away from the event discouraged, though. It was essentially an Obama bash fest. Most of the people there were Republicans that seemed to have short memories.

With what our Annointed One and the Democrat Congress have done lately, it's really polarized a significant section of our country.

As things continue to digress, there will be a significant increase in those numbers.

Not only individuals, but states are starting to have a look at reigning the Federal Government back in.

Considering this is only Spring of Obama's first term, I can't see how he can possibly make things worse.

So I would suggest that liberals enjoy the moment. The people are starting to realize that they are being hurt by these folks.

Every day, more jobs are lost, more power is grabbed by the Fed, and they'll either lose the next election, or things might get a little squirrel-ey.

One way or the other, the pendulum is going to swing the other way. And the greater arc the Liberals swing the pendulum one way, the greater it's going to swing the other way.

I know a guy at work that is going to protest the local tea party.

Not because of the tea party but because a bunch of local corrupt politicians are jumping on the bandwagon and are trying to "be the leaders" of it.

I fear this may be happening in other places as well, fast way to kill them off is to have a bunch of corrupt local politicians under indictments and such leading and or speaking at these.

You know, I've thought about this very thing, just today. I'm going to the rally in my state next week and I was watching GB today and I noticed the tea party commercial on Fox News. They're dividing and conquering, just like we always said they would try to do.

Does tea cause movements too?

I've been using coffee and cigarettes for that.

I don't understand this particular bit o' honey.

Please enlighten as to "they?"

ACORN or the GOP? Anyone but Glenn Beck and Chuck Norris? Please help explain this movement. I went to college and watch real news, so I'm obviously behind.

Uh yes the Pauler movement has been hijacked, and for a while now. Bushies, white nationalists such as stormfront and ultra social conservatives have all merged themselves into the Paul movement. They never gave a damn about it during the Bush administration, basically outcasted paulers and many anti-war advocates, right and left, as anti-american anti-suppoer our troops. Now that a dem is in power they give an ass about it..... Fox news and their sudden "care" should be evident enough. They are using this to their post election bitterness.

I dont like Paul, dont agree with him and his economic policies and I dont agree with Paulers. However I recognize and attempt to hijact the ron paul movement and to turn it into an entire neocon movement (labelled as a tea party movement). Paulers are been taken for a ride.... again. I aint too concerned about who will feel cheated out here, but just feel the need to give a heads up.

oh yes right. It wasnt as if in 2001, 2003 and so on Liberals were pushed aside and told to "shut up, your either with us or against us". Any questions regarding the Iraq war and you were labelled anti-american by rightwingers. Any question against Bushie and you were labelled anti-american. It was seriously disgusting the way conservatives acted towards those who had real questions regarding the Bush administration and now the shoe is on the other foot.

Rightwing fringers only polarize themselves.... after years of polarizing others... good riddance.... Im glad to see the voices of the fringe now limited to only propaganda blogs and forums.

As things continue to digress, there will be a significant increase in those numbers.

What you mean if america continues to improve?
seriously the tea parties are a joke.... nothing like a bunch of bushies protesting about the constitution and polarization... the irony.

Not only individuals, but states are starting to have a look at reigning the Federal Government back in.

Yes and folks been saying this for months now. Let me know if anything actually happens.

Considering this is only Spring of Obama's first term, I can't see how he can possibly make things worse.

Things are improving, although hearing you folks saying its gettin worse aint all too surprising. I bet in two years time when the recession is done the new excuse will be "it was going to end anyway".

So I would suggest that liberals enjoy the moment.

Yes I quiet like the view of a bunch of whiny hypocritical bushies... I tell ya it aint ganna get better. After all these years its great to see the neocons getting a taste of their own.

Keep it up folks

All I can say do what I do show up at these protests with Campaign for Liberty materials and Obama Deception DVD and simply break the paradigm.

I think he means the people that own the low life's Hannity and Beck.

They are trying to get the conservatives to revolt.

Conservatives and Liberals killing each other in the street is what I think they are after.

So you think that only "hypocritical bushies" are losing jobs, homes and savings? Last time I checked, it was the lower and middle class people in that boat, and they are the ones, for the most part, that are joining the tea parties.
Your ultra-partisan posts do nothing but divide people.
Why don't you try to look at things as they are-namely that people are hurting, and have chosen these "tea parties" as a way of expressing their frustration and outrage. The fact that some politicians (of both parties, BTW) are on the bandwagon shouldn't disguise the true frustration and anger these people have.

Your analogies are the equivalent of saying that since Hitler loved dogs, all dog lovers are Nazis.

Why did I strictly link the two? Since when did the tea party fringers make up the entire jobless population? Im sorry but never linked the two mmk?

You mean the fringe rightwing part of the country right? Please its real pathetic to see your trying to make this beyond a bushie protest, the reality is that it just is. Storm front, former Bush supporters, fox news watchers and maybe the odd Pauler. The same folks who never gave Obama or any of the dems a bone, ever, even during the elections. Yet are happy to mutter "poor bush, Obama is getting it easier".

These are post election bitterness protests, nothing more. The term tea party is an embarrestment. Most of these folks never gave a damn about the constitution when bushie was around.

Your ultra-partisan

I hear this from "ultra-partisan" fringers like yourself all the time. I make no secret where I stand, and at the same time unlike the accusers I dont source my information from ultra-partisan blogs. You folks calling anybody anything is just laughable when looking at the histories of all of your posts. Go on will you?

Why don't you try to look at things as they are-namely that people are hurting

You mean election hurting? You mean political hurting? You mean "Obama is a muslim and not a citizen" hurting? These folks never gave a damn about the constitution or their fellow americans during the early years of Bush. These people have nothing to do with the real middle class folk suffering.

and have chosen these "tea parties" as a way of expressing their frustration and outrage...

....because the "socialist pinko muslim kenyan guy is in power".... kudos to them for using their rights to freedom of speech. Thats the only thing ill commend them for.

Your analogies are the equivalent of saying that since Hitler loved dogs, all dog lovers are Nazis.

When watching those protests it was really something to see Paulers stand hand in hand with former bush supporters and white nationalists. I need not have to "assume" anything.

It seems to me that the word patriot and its definition has shifted from concrete, to a more subjective concept.

Many people claiming that they are the true patriots, yet they quarrel with each other.

You are so off base, I don't even know where to begin. Since I have no use for either party, if you think that makes me a partisan, then you have no concept of what partisan means.

With the real unemployment number at around 20% right now, I think you must be the only person in this country who thinks things are good right now.

Aside from that, your entire reply is nothing but name calling, and as a result of this, and other posts you've made, I have decided to add your name to my honored short ignore list. Have a nice life. I don't need to read your partisan drivel any more. Your posts add nothing to intelligent discussion.
