Limited Posts and Threads, Why?

I recently found out that i can only post 150 threads, why is that? And i can only post 25, well, Posts. Why? Why limit the info?

Say what? There are no limits to posting. I've been here since 05, and I've posted a LOT more than 150. Are you sure that it wasn't 150 to get into chat, and 25 to U2U?

I think that your profile only shows the most recent 150 threads you've started. But I don't think there's any limit to how many you can post.

edit to add: similarly, the "posts" tab in your profile shows your most recent 250 posts. But that's only a limit on how many display, not a total of how many you can post
