France alarmed over Iran's nuclear boast

www.ynetnews.com

Paris calls on UN to probe new nuclear fuel plant and 7,000 centrifuges Ahmadinejad alleges are open.

France expressed concern Friday after Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad boasted that his country had developed new nuclear fuel enrichment technology despite international pressure not to do so.

"These are worrying declarations," French foreign ministry sspokesman Eric Chevallier told reporters. "We need to check the accuracy of the figures ... and for that we'll wait for the International...

Again suprisingly France - once loud and provocative opposition for Iraq operation - is taking side against Iran. It was just few months ago, at the time of Gaza op, when official France intelligence raport clearly claimed Iran from Nuke ambitions...

France is maybe most Zionist government in Europe, and looks like that Sarkozy is one of the banksters master puppets along side with UK:s Brown.

We should ask serious question, why France just has step back to NATO core? Is their aim to turn majority of the Union to back up Iran operation - sure looks like that.

UK gave yesterday announcement, how "all should unite against Iran" -

Its very difficult to see, how any real negotiations are on their way - but just opposite, and France and UK is now eager to show their support to Israel in Israeli Media... - So that the people in Israel doesnt forget their true influence inside christian states politics.

France can choke on it.

Do these detached bureaucrats have any knowledge of Nuclear fission or do they assume anyone who acquires a centrifuge is suddenly capable of destroying the world?

Even with 7,000 centrifuges Iran produces about half a kilogram of enriched uranium hexafluoride per month, at around 3.5% enrichment.
No where near the level required for weaponization which can only be achieved by Heavy-water reactors or Fast neutron reactors, NEITHER of which Iran has nor will have, thanks to UN sanctions. Even Russia has said they will not supply them either.

People really need to keep tabs on their Nuclear-paranoia. Iran can't do sh*t.

They lack the reactors, the skill sets, the ballistic missiles and guidance systems to pose a credible nuclear deterrent factor.

That should actually be half a kilogram. But you're one of the few who really gets it. The Iranians have a small fuel processing setup that's only capable of manufacturing low grade uranium for use in power plants. They're monitored constantly by the IAEA and the entire US Intelligence Community has officially declared that Iran hasn't had a nuclear weapons program for over 6 years.

Does any of that make any difference? Nah... the mouth breathers don't care about facts, they just want to see Tehran in flames on CNN.

Cheers buddy

It does get pretty tiring parroting the same facts over and over when people have their blindfolds on so tight around their heads it cuts off circulation to the part of the brain that controls RATIONALITY.

would this be the same France that was blowing up atols testing their nuclear weapons with the rest of the world protesting?

Do you actually have a real french MSM source for that ?
Or you only rely on that propagandist piece of **** ?

One MSM source is no different from another MSM source.

Garbage, dog turd, horse manure, bollocks, and MSM are all synonyms for the same thing.

How would a French source making any difference?

Instead of blowing a vein, trying Googling for yourself and see the dozen or so different sources quoting the French government the exact same way.

Do you do anything besides search the web for articles that relate to either Iran or Israel? It seems evey thread you start has something to do with Israel, and even the ones that don't(like this one) you claim has something to do with the "Zionist" conspiracy.

France was against the Iraq war, but because the are worried about Iran you say they are cotrolled by Zionist. Don't you remember freedom fries? That's because they were oppossed to the Iraq war.

No matter what a country does you blame Zionist which is just code for Jews. Maybe you are just a raging anti-Semite?

Well, that's because I can do what apparently you can't, my friend, that is turn on my TV and see for myself what the french media are saying about the issue.

First some facts about that so called "french zionism". Some might remember, but Israel actually refused for a long time France to take part in the peace process because it is considered a pro-arab country and friendly with the palestinian cause.
Some might even remember the incident when pres. Chirac, on a visit, threatened to cause an incident by leaving the country if the Israeli police didn't let him come in contact with palestinians in Jerusalem.
France-Israel dissentions go back a long way with incidents like the stealing of the "frégates" by the mossad right under the french military nose, in a french harbor, or the destroying of the nuclear plant french had built in Irak.

Things french tvs have been showing include a documentary, two days ago called "the hostages era" explaining how Iran took part in negociations to free french hostages that had been taken in Lebannon. One of the worst crisis France had to face. Iran demands, according to the doc were that, since France wouldn't stop delivering weapons to Saddam's regime during the Irak/Iran war, then France would be to deliver weapons to Iran too.
But Iran was pretty pissed over the nuclear enrichment plant too. Iran had lent 1 billion dollars so that france could build the above mentionned plant (in France) in return for some nuclear fuel. France took the billion, built its plant, but never honored its part of the agreement.
On a side note, France's involvement with Iran is pretty obscure, giving shelter to the shah of Iran, or ayatollah Khomeini in turn. Chances are, closed-door talks were so complex we'll never know the truth of what happened during these times.

Other stuff french tv has been showing is the worsening situation in the West Banks, including some footage of palestinians beeing shot at from illegal settlements. Or the life of some palestinian widows of the same area that would have to wake up at 3 am to go work on the black market as cleaning personnel in jerusalem at 8 am. Saying that this life of misery is their only alternative to prostitution. Or palestinians in these same West Bank asking for a boycott of Israeli goods.
The type of docs they've been showing lately do more in favor of opinion shifting than any 5 words meaningless statement published in jewish propaganda.

Thing is, the latest Israeli government is frightening a lot of people and media battles lines are beeing drawn right as we speak.
France can't blatantly take one side. They have to somehow please both. Take the game for what it is, a game. When on one side they're letting media show more stuff critical of Israeli policies, and on the other end they throw this kind of statement (very rarely followed by actions).

What is getting most governements in an uproar over this is the "type" of fussion they are using in the newest production.
It is a very sophisticated form of "cold fussion". One that you don't normally use for nuclear power alone. Although it works in much the sameway; this form of fussion can be used much more easily to produce the needed materials for war heads in a greater abundance.(and faster)

Stacie... cold fusion doesn't even exist yet. There's not a word in your post that makes any sense or is even close to the truth. The Iranians aren't doing anything special and the process they're using is the LEAST effective way to make a weapon. For power generation, it's just fine.

I don't mean to pile up on you here but that's just nonsense.

No one has demonstrated Cold fusion beyond anything but simple table-top experiments.

Iran is using Russian VVER light-water reactors moderated via graphite to enrich uranium.

That's probably the most incompetent way to go about building a bomb. Not only does it use Uranium Oxide as a fuel (which cannot be weaponized) but it cannot enrich Uranium U-235 (ordinary ores) to U-238 (weapons grade).

The most you can do with a light-water reactor is enrich U-235 to about a maximum of 4%, which is nowhere the level required for Nuclear fission to take place (75%).
