If a magnetic pole flip occured would at any point during the shift things become or charges become neutral? could this be possible?
Can anyone survive in neutral?
Just a conversation me and my buddy had.. .

Electric charges have nothing to do with the orientation of the Earth's magnetic field, so the shifting of the Earth's magnetic poles wouldn't change (as an example) the direction of current flow through a circuit, or the charge on an electron. Given that the poles tend to drift over time in any case, even a dramatic shift would more than likely have minimal large-scale effects, other than some very confused migratory birds, and some equally confused Boy Scouts.
