Does anyone have any update on this topic ?, has it been totally forgotten ? , was it like a previous person suggested, some random act ?

Yup, happens to us in the UK all the time. Only last week construction for the Olympics caused a major break in London. Many homes and business were without any telecoms, some for several days. The cable was buried 30 metres underground, but some sort of boring machine went through it and completely fudged up a 96 cable system!

I know that, you know that, but thieves don't. We have at least 2 incidents a year were they pull up cables, cut it, realise it's fibre and just walk off, leaving us with a whole pile of mess to tidy up afterwards, usually at 4 in the morning!!
