She's out of San Fran. If anything talking like this will get her RE elected.
That is the worst part of it.

Maybe the are scare that too many people in America with guns pose a danger to their power and what they planning to do.

That would seem to be counterproductive. In fact, its the stupidest part of their latest anti-gun crusade. At the moment, we're already experiencing the highest level of gun and ammunition sales in the history of the country, largely because they've scared the gun owning public to death. More anti-gun rhetoric will simply drive even more gun sales.

Do these people even think before they speak? Perhaps my mistake is in believing that our elected officials are even capable of rational thought.

Not that I put much stock in polls, politicians or enjoy the concept of 'mob-rule' but two recent polls, one taken pre-shooting sprees and one taken after the string of sprees both show national support for a new ban to be historically low.

In my opinion I think they are going to start the confiscations in the constitution free zones.
www.aclu.org...

As they work from the outside in, they are going to push resistors inland towards the center of the country. That's where it's going to get really ugly, the center of the country. The camps are already in place waiting for the resistors.

Everyone needs to play this one smart, Be prepared.

NO, they are not capable of rational thought we are learning that the hard way in the last years since the financial crisis and their way of fixing it is going on.

They are morons, they are driven by powers that are not for the public to understand and they also are whores to those powers taking money under the table to work in their best interest.

And we the people are not, we are the enemy.

All that is now needed to scare the populace into accepting confiscation (not registration), is a massive false flag malitia attack on some government or police stronghold, killing numerous citizens. This will be blamed on gun nuts and just like with 9-11 the good little sheeple will demand that our benevolent politicos order the confiscation of those mean 'ol guns for our own safety. The One , our beloved Pres. will then come on TV and with big 'ol crocodile tears say that it is time to "stop the madness". Case closed???

That might have worked a decade ago, but in the current political climate? I think it would have the opposite effect. People are incredibly skeptical of the federal government at the present time, including on gun issues. The present rate of gun sales seems to confirm that.

I think people would immediately suspect that it was staged. There will certainly be a number of morons who take the bait hook, line and sinker, but I believe that the majority of the country, and especially gun owners, would see right through it.

Turns out CNN did a poll after the recent killings that have been on the news. This actually caused a precipitous DROP in any support for new bans or restrictions. And this is CNN.

So I would say that Democrats are just as pro-2nd as Republicans. Just not the ones in California, New York or Illinois.

The 2nd Amendment may not stand in their way, but those American people that believe in freedom, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights WILL stand in their way.

It's time for all Americans to contact their representatives, remind them of who they work for, and put their collective foot down before the next foot that does go down will be clad in a jackboot.

The problem isn't so much 'Democrats' as it is Democratic politicians. The average Dem on the street, at least in most areas of the country, has never been anything close to as rabidly anti-gun as the elected party officials are these days. Their hard shift to the left in the last decade or so has left a good number of traditional Dems in 'flyover country' behind.

I hope you are correct, of course. You will note I refered to the "sheeple" response, not real people (ATS'ers). I think this administration is drunk on their own 88% popularity rating amongst Democrats. Reason escapes those drunk on their own preceived powers.

Agreed. I used to be one of them, I never found myself agreeing with republicans either because despite their lipservice to small government they have never actually delivered on that.

Democrats in Washington just want to control and "Regulate" everything under the sun. At least that's what liberal politics has become. It used to be that Reps were the party of civil liberties, small government, and business, and the democrats used to be the party of civil liberties and the little people.

Now they're all a bunch of socialists and fascists...What the hell happened?

One thing that the MSM is not telling everyone, the guns showing up in Mexico are stolen. Any of you that like to research such things will find the local news reports from all over the U.S. of the brazen raids on gun stores.

They would have us believe that trampling our 2nd amendment would make a difference when the real problem is organized crime stealing the guns and then selling them on the black market. Its not the individual gun owners fault.

That's part of the problem, but most of these weapons are military grade (grenades, rocket launchers, heavy machine guns, etc) and are not available to these civilian gun dealers in the first place. These criminal organizations are largely getting these weapons through corrupt contacts inside the Mexican military. The State Department sells the weapons to the Mexican military, then some corrupt members of the Mexican military turn around and sell them to criminal enterprises.

It has little to do with civilian gun owners and gun dealers.

You think that's bad. Ive been doing some research on new bills in the house and senate. They are pushing for Serialized or micro coded ammo.Which would require all ammo to be in a Federal database.
See here.

Don't forget the CIA in this consideration. Since the CIA is reported to be the biggest illegal drug importer in the US, what is to keep them from trading guns for drugs with the amegios south of the border?

Won't let the second amendment of the United States Constitution stand in her way?

Excuse me, is that not TREASON? Is that not an absolute abrogation of her vow to defend the Constitution?

Are these not impeachable offenses?

I want to tell anyone out there that voted for her..., she sounds like a radicalized homegrown terrorist.

Maybe she should be deprived of HER constitutional rights for a spell... hmmm?

Nancy Pelosi is the reason why our government has just morphed into a circus. Not only is she out of touch with what the people believe and want, she's clueless to the world around her. If you've ever seen how this woman is and acts on t.v. its disgusting. She's always got a perky smile and cracking jokes with someone during a debate in the background. A smile that can only be described as evil as "The Joker". You can just tell she doesn't care about anyone but herself and her fellow goon squad. I don't think there are any politicians left in any state office that are 100% clean but this woman is the poster-child of what a politician shouldn't be. She's been in power too long. Bush is gone but his ways continue to live on with Pelosi.

I don't even own a gun and I'm offended by this. Another law from an infinite list these people have of obscene and unnecessary laws to implement while they can in the worst of times so no-one notices. Yet another thing to bombard us all with.

Maybe my foot should register with Pelosi's ass, how would she like that?

These pieces of crud can't be voted out of office. They need to be dragged out by the hair, kicking and screaming, and tossed into the street.
