Shocking Scenarios: Rapid Economic Contraction May Lead to New Wars and Radicalized Politics

www.altern et.org

Economic contraction could provoke: confrontation between U.S. and China or an unraveling of the European Union.

As the global economy heads for its first annual decline since WWII and the biggest decline in trade in 80 years, more and more commentators are using the term depression to describe the vertiginous economic collapse.

The rate of the decline is astonishing. Nouriel Roubini, a.k.a. “Dr. Doom,” writes, “The scale and speed of synchronized global economic contraction is really unprecedented (at least since the Great Depression), with a free fall of GDP, income, consumption, industrial production, employment, exports, imports, residential investment and, more ominously, capital expenditures around the world.”

During the Great Depression the global economy fragmented, leading to the rise of competing power blocs. Eventually, fascist Germany and imperial Japan launched wars of conquest for new markets and lands because they lacked the territorial and trade outlets possessed by the United States, England and the Soviet Union.

This crisis is at an early stage, but the process of global fragmentation has already begun, which means a greater likelihood of interstate military conflict. With the fading of the “war on terror” as the central U.S. battleground, China will probably return as the pre-eminent peril in the minds of the U.S. economic and political elite.

Could the current world economic crisis lead to new wars, and or radicalize politics?

Well, in the U.S. we have the example of Emmanuel Rham, Hillary Clinton and the like stating openly that "you can never let a good crisis go to waste, and you can do things that you never though possible before", are a sign of radicalized politics. That is including the statement of Hillary Clinton who said to the world, and China that no Human Right is more important than any created crisis by TPTB.

But is this really just a choice made from an unpredictable crisis? or is this more a created crisis in order to install more Socialist programs meant to opress people more, and destroy the Republic and other simialr "almost" free antions? Meanwhile TPTB do everything in their power to show, claim and brainwash people into thinking that Capitalism does not work, and that we need a more Socialist/Communist way of life to survive.

In other words, is this a created crisis? IMO it is.

Many people in the United States, and many parts of the world will be against this "change", and this will eventually and unfortunately lead into a civil war.

I see in the future this war also culminating into race wars, and wars of hatred as some people side with the Obama plan, and keep defending his administration in great part just because of the color of the man that is in office, as they keep destroying the Republic, meanwhile the Americans that are, and will be against this are demonized, branded unpatriotic, people will be rounded up, and even inprisoned for just speaking up against the destruction of the Republic.

Because of this discontent, and civil riots, and wars other countries will use this as an excuse to send their troops to assits the new United Socialist States, and the invasion of America that so many brave souls have seen will come to pass.

I really wish none of this would happen.

I wish I was wrong, yet years ago while people kept claiming that Russia, and China would never unite agaisnt the U.S., while many people kept claiming, and still some claim there is no international Communist organization trying to take over the world by implementing a One World Government all of this and more has happened.

The people I once thought were crakpots or at least I doubted in the early 1990's during Waco and Ruby Ridge and OKC were actually just ahead of their time. A more virulent version of socialism than Clintons has moved into place, I walked away from the democrats back in 2000, yet we still have people that think Bush was conservative and that Obama will be better than Bush when he just looks like him on steroids.
