Fourth, after all the Hurricanes and other natural disasters they'd have nothing left. After all if it isn't for big government(FEMA/NAT Guard) they just leave people on their roofs to die. Just look at Katrina. They just stood around and watched people die until the big evil liberal taxed funded groups came in too save them.

Is it the south you hate or the Republicans?I think you have some seeded hatred towards racism that is really what your trying to get across.If your north is so great don't you think they have already forgave the south,why don't you give it try and truly be "united" and make what those half a million people died for worth something.

Also maybe if you would do some research into US history you would find that it was your Democrats at the time of the civil war who wanted slavery to remain and the Republicanswho wanted to abolish it.Before you think it,I am Democrat by the way.Point is parties change,people change,times change.Think about that next time before making yourself look like one of those "ignorant southerners"you so much despise.By the way,I have lived half my life in Tennessee and the other in Illinois,I have great friends and family in each.

I agree that it's stupid to assume someone is a bigoted hick because they happen to live in the South.

I've met plenty of bigoted urbanites in the Northeast, and my (admittedly limited) experience in the South was uniformly cordial.

Most of my family lives in upstate SC now, near Greenville, and I have found people there to be very friendly.

Kind of a hostile thread here -- let's see -- where to begin?

First off slavery was an idea and institution introduced to the US by the future NWO so that it could be leveraged at the right time. People buy into ideas. A little peer pressure, social acceptance and most anything can be stomached by most people. It's well documented slavery was in decline and propped up by the norther states or it wouldn't have been a viable idea by the time of the civil war.

I would say the "belief" of Thomas Jefferson in "Slavery" was more likely a belief in taking in people viewed as more primitive and less fortunate as "Servants" and helping them. It was not the more arrogant and cruel intention of brutalizing them or creating fake wars to slaughter then as it is today. Nor was it the abusive greed driven mentality of some Southern Plantations as was facilitate by the northern buyers and good old Jesuit infiltration and propaganda. In other words, I would suspect that the founding fathers, human as they where, for the most part, had benevolent intent however, misguided. And again that intent came from ideas they grew up with and in a time when it was more than tolerated to own slaves. Perhaps the founding fathers even felt they where sheltering people that would otherwise have no better opportunity at that time.

The Civil War, in reality, had nothing to do with slavery. That was just the sales pitch. The marketing hype facilitated by the good old media. The southern states weren't interested in the slavery issue they where interested in not being under the growing "federal" authority. Only a small portion of the bill of rights was acceptable to the federalists and they only accepted that in exchange for Federal Reserve support. Many southern and northern, "freedom" oriented states, realized the boondoggle of the constitution after the fact. By the time of the civil war, the NWO was ready to formally impose Federalism ie Central Government Dictatorship over all the states. They created a "them against us" dividing line (a Very Jesuit thing to do) in order to accomplish several things:
1. Infuse Catholics into the Northern states and Northern army so assure eventual victory and alter the politics and help in the slaughter of the protestants. They did this by fabricating a fake "Potato famine" in Catholic Ireland (the protestants still exported large quantities of foods) to drive the Catholics to the USA (the north mostly).
2. Create general trauma under which greater federal authority (NWO) would come to the rescue.
3. Impoverish the government and leverage debt to the bankers and instigating another Federal Reserve strangle hold.

Numbers 2 and 3 above make it pretty clear why Lincoln was killed.

Likely the actions of many southern leaders where the work of shills planted to facilitate the war rather than a new constitutional conventions which might have resulted in a correction of the blunder of federal authority or simply a clear, formal, legal disbanding of the "republic" or a return to a pre-constitutional status.

The promotion of the evil founding fathers is pure NWO for the express purpose of destroying unity and faith in the republic as a preliminary step to rationals of a fantasy better world with communism or socialism or Jesusism or what even gimmick they will promote to get people to abandon their "God given" rights in favor of the benevolence of the NWO.

I was going to ignore this thread, but I just can't. I don't know what the OP's problem is, but he obviously has some serious issues. How has this stupid rant gotten this far? Let me just say that I was born and raised and grew to adulthood in New Orleans, but have lived in Connecticut for the last 28 years, so I think I am well qualified to have an informed opinion on this topic.

When I first moved up here the national leader of the KKK lived in Meriden, CT. Also, regarding "the Northeast Liberal Elite"...I can vouch for the fact that not only is the Northeast well-populated with bigots and racists, but also that their numbers are only matched or exceeded by Left Liberal elitists.

Actually, the Spanish were in North America long before the English. St. Augustine, FL was founded in 1565. They were in the Southwest even earlier. As for the English, Jamestown, VA was settled in 1604. The Pilgrims didn't show up in Plymouth until 1620. Learn some history, you ignorant Yankee POS.

Fair enough, but in exchange, the next time the Northeast is devastated by a hurricane the way it was by the 1-2 punches of Connie and Diane in 1955, or by a massive blizzard like in 1977, or by a massive ice storm, then let's not have the Yankees go crying to the Feds for relief, either...after all, they live in a cold place prone to snowstorms and other nasty winter weather. In my 28 years up here I have run into more idiots like the OP than I care to remember, but in its defense I will say that Connecticut has been good to me, and generally speaking, its benefits have outweighed its disadvantages.

Still, you can take the boy out of the South, but you can't take the South out of the boy. If I were able to make the move easily, I would like to go home, where both the weather and the people are warmer.

But not back to New Orleans...I'd be GTT...Gone to Texas. Bush Country! Yee-Hah!

PS - Actually I thought of one other thing. My family arrived in the colonies in 1735 during the French/Indian Wars and were actually here for the Revolution and the founding of our nation. What about you, the OP, JMasters, on your high horse?

First, inbreeding happens, its what happens when you live in a small community in the mountains cut off from the rest of the world. Of course, can't let no strangers in, they might be different...

Second, they leech off the north by paying less in taxes, but recieving more in tax benefits. As already stated, 8 of the top 10 in recieving tax benefits while paying the least are red. Also again without those evil liberal tax funded groups they just let people die after natural disasters. Sit there and watch on Fox News while people starve to death on their roofs until the evil Big Government swoops in to save the day a week later. Which means if they didn't show up... those people would still be on their roofs.
