The Mets had the winning run at bat, with no outs...and he hits into a triple play.

Oh man..

I was working around the house all day and was not listening to any baseball scores since the real team in New York wasn't playing until 8. I thought you were joking when I read this.

God, apparently, hates the Mets.

No, it really happened.

Just thinking about it again. That was great.

Not to worry, dog...

With A-roid on the team, the
's aren't winning anything. God couldn't possibly hate us that much...

Much as I hate the Yankee's...

Kudos to Derek Jeter, on his passing of Lou Gerhig as the Yankee's all time hit leader.

Way to go, you damned Yankee...

What's that? The Yankees? Celebrating? After clinching the AL East? On their way to a 27th championship? What?

Took 'em long enough...

How many tries? three? Oh, well... As long as they have Arod, they'll not win the world series... That's what matters...

Winter free agent signing got off to a good start, unofficially, of course; with the Mariners picking up Chone Figgens from the Angels. Improving the OBP, and weakening a division rival.

Though it's not official, the contract is reported to be in the range of four years at just over ten million per...not a hideous amount of money, as these things go...

Next on the list is Rich Harden...good number two starter behind King Felix...

So this is what it's like having a competent General Manager? Cool...

Any more high quality and healthy pitchers you want to dump on the Mets this year?

Eric Bedard is available...

Actually, if Putz gets healthy again, he'll be ok... It happens.

The Yankees just added All Star centerfielder Curtis Granderson for what basically amounted to nothing.
