Before presenting the text a few preliminary notes are in order.
Firstly, what follows is an 'advanced' exposition drawn from the Tibetan Vajrayana.
The presentation is essentially a very high level
'implementation' based on material introduced here
'micro-model' partially detailed here
. A review of this material may be
Further, it is assumed that the reader is already 'familiar' with a few other basic 'tenets.'
1. The 'two truths' - ie, First, the level of 'conventional' or 'relative' truth which 'exists' by 'conventional agreement.' This is our
'everyday ordinary reality.' Its 'referent' is the 'conventional perception' of 'ordinary individuals.' Second, the level of 'ultimate'
truth which is 'inconcievable' to the 'ordinary mind.' Its only referent is the 'acognitive samadhi.'
2. 'Emptiness' or 'voidness' means that 'conventional objects' which are 'collections of attributes' and 'exist merely by mental
designation' are ultimately 'empty' of existence 'from their own side.'
3. Ultimately, 'all is holy.'
Traditionally these teachiings are delivered in three parts. The beginning, the middle and the end. The beginning is always a 'dedication' where the
'motivation is set.' The middle is the the presentation of the material, and the end is another dedication.
The beginning and ending parts are 'important' for 'karmic' reasons and are always present because that's just how the Tibetans are.
