LONDON (AFP) – Angry residents of an English village blocked the driver of a Google Street View car who was filming the neighbourhood, saying they feared he would encourage burglaries, a report said Friday.

"We've already had three burglaries locally in the past six weeks. If our houses are plastered all over Google it's an invitation for more criminals to strike. I was determined to make a stand, so I called the police."

I think that the Internet should be destroyed. It has become a highway for the child pornographers, it can compromise national security; it invites burglaries and other criminal activity including terrorism. The Internet is the mouth of the devil himself and has to be done with. -- or perhaps be censored on the highest level and the mouse-clicking villains silenced.
