Very good and I feel the same way frequently.

Invisible is this thing
That has no name or face
Distant and so near
But not knowing any place

Close I feel I am to it
But yet I cannot reach
The handles of what it is
It's realm I cannot breach

Just outside of consciousness
I feel it call to me
Beckoning to be found
Released, alas to be

As I search I find
Not of which needs be known
But stuck on a journey
For which cannot be shown

As age upon me stalks
I run into the night
Searching for this truth
That has still taken flight

This search I will abide
Until I find this light
Until epiphanies hail
I'll stalk it through the night

"A splinter in your mind" is a great analogy.
Perhaps it's nothing more than a delusion.
I don't think so.
How do you find something if you don't even know what you are looking for?
It finds you!!
"No matter where you go, there you are".

"Why do you do it Mr. Anderson"? '"Why do you persist"?
"Because I choose to".

I know that I am quoting a lot of movie phrases, but they stick in my head and make sense in a weird kind of way.

There are processes continuously at work in the background of our consciousness, and some people are more attune to them than others.
For some reason, there are those that can extract bits of relevant information from everyday life, and from patterns. Some people are aware of those patterns even if only subconsciously.
The lives we live, and the information we gather, all lead to one inexorable fact.
We are more than our collective pieces, and we are more than just human.
We are aware of our existance and aware of the universe around us.
Forever stuck in a world where the majority of people are stuck in the here and now and can barely see five feet past their own faces.

We are alive, in our bodies, in our buildings, in our town, in our district, in our county, in our state, in our country, on our continent, on our planet, in our solar system, in our galaxy, in our expanse, in our universe, in our dimension, in the other eleven dimensions, in all aspects of time, space, and realities, were the physics may or may not make reality possible.
For all time, we have existed.
Since the dawn of the universe, to its collapse, we have been here.
What difference does it make when, the point is we are here.

Not a moment passes by when we are not aware of this.
This is what we see, and are looking for.
This is what has found us.
Race, religion, sex, etc... All immaterial.
Human or otherwise, immaterial.
Physical or not, immaterial.
Life = Relevant

Hate in the present, love in the present, complete utter isolation in the present, a torture chamber in the present, ecstasy in the present,a heavenly orgy in the present,it all passes but the tears of the eternal last for us forever.
