GRRRR.....What happened?

I finished writing a brilliant reply in a thread, and lost ATS completely!

I swear, I thought I broke the place with my reply, as it was gone and lost forever as soon as I hit the reply button?

Maintenance, per chance? Did I miss a mass mailing on this, because I would have held off my words of wisdom!

The load balancer at our hosting provider went offline for nearly 50 minutes.

That's the device that distributes web traffic between our three web servers.

There's still apparently some potential issues, and there may be some residual downtime in the next 30-60 minutes.

Funny, I was sending a u2u message, and as soon as I hit send ATS was gone.

Well, if the power was needed for beer fridges then I totally understand. What I don't understand is where was my invite? huh?

When you are makeing a lengthy and complicacted reply or new thread you could try drafting it in note pad, or wordpad or some other word processor - I believe (and please correct if I'm wrong) the only capable software misrosoft has released is the microsoft office products!

Seriously though, a word to the wise. When typing a big post, it's a good idea to type it up in word or txtpad or something then copy and past it into ats...that way if you lose it, you have the original.
