Ever pull apart an Uninterruptable Power Supply?

They have a 12V Sealed Lead Acid battery inside. We sell and repair them (9/10 they just need a new battery) at work.

I've got about 3 UPS's that don't work, probably just need to replace the batteries.
Do you have a link of a company that sells these batts?

Im not sure where you live, but I am in Australia. I work at an electronics store in Wagga Wagga in rural NSW where our main supplier is Jaycar www.jaycar.com.au...

If you are in America, I think the closest thing is Radioshack www.radioshack.com...

If you are elsewhere, any Electronics store should either have or have access to everything you need (and is often much cheaper than you might think).

Just have a look at what you need first. Opening up most UPS's should be fairly straight forward. Just be sensible about it. Have a look at what is inside it, make note of the ratings/dimension, etc, and if you are not sure, take the battery (or whole unit) into the store. If the shop has good staff, they will be all too happy to have a look for you.
