London Summit – Leaders' Statement (02/04/2009)

4. We have today therefore pledged to do whatever is necessary to:

* restore confidence, growth, and jobs;
* repair the financial system to restore lending;
* strengthen financial regulation to rebuild trust;
* fund and reform our international financial institutions to overcome this crisis and prevent future ones;
* promote global trade and investment and reject protectionism, to underpin prosperity; and
* build an inclusive, green, and sustainable recovery.

I don't believe a bit of it. But I hope I'm wrong. I hope they really do want to help.

I hope they want to help the poor that are on the streets. I hope they really want to be green. I hope they will strengthen regulation, especially on the BANKS.

I hope they stop bailing bad businesses out, and start helping the PEOPLE. Not businesses. PEOPLE.

This government is BY THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE. Not BY THE BUSINESSES FOR THE BUSINESSES.
