What would it look like to fall into a black hole?

Falling into a black hole might not be good for your health, but at least the view would be fine. A new simulation shows what you might see on your way towards the black hole's crushing central singularity. The research could help physicists understand the apparently paradoxical fate of matter and energy in a black hole.

Andrew Hamilton and Gavin Polhemus of the University of Colorado, Boulder, built a computer code based on the equations of Einstein's general theory of relativity, which describes gravity as a distortion of space and time

I was reminded of Steve Hawkins book Brief History of Time, where he has described the scenario of a person falling into a black hole.

We still dont understand black holes completely and in the recent times there has been talk of dark energy.

While nothing can escape a black hole, what puzzles me is that gravity of the black hole in fact does have an effect on cosmic objects around it. How does gravity then "escape" from the black hole?

ah great thread!!

what would it be like to fall into a blackhole., im sure this has been posted befor in somewhat another way but neways!

If one takes into account the particals in your body vs mass and the structure of the body "the black hole"

one would infact fall asleep

hence you would be dead befor you got close.. how? well ill tell you

First your eyes would not see the light, 2nd you would think you was blind but only due to the light, but the funny part is, as soon as the light was being sucked into the BH so would the rest of your matter (your body)

hence you would passout and not see anything, you would gaze upon its amazingness untill the critical mass of this object would rip you apart.

going to sleep = what you see vs a black hole or atleast falling into one.

becuase gravity is what makes a black hole a black hole, it does not escape it infact radiates gravity..
