I know fear and I am a fairly fearless person. but right now, I am very afraid.
I am afraid that the people that live in the US have had it so good for so long, that we are not even aware of what we are about to lose.
This country is now a runaway train and if we don't do something to stop it, life as we know it will cease and we are all doomed.
We are not headed to communism or even socialism, we're headed to full blown FACISM.
Our economy is in a very well orchestrated free-fall in order for our recently elected administration to usher us into an entirely new form of government.
Say goodbye to our Constitution.
Say goodbye to our Bill of Rights.
Say goodbye to everything our Brothers, Fathers and Forefathers fought and gave their lives for.
Our Government has now set the precedent of weaving itself into the finest threads of the fabric that creates our country's greatness.
Government has no business interferring with private business enterprise. It has no business bailing out businesses that, through their own greed and mismanagement, are reaping what their greed has sown. LET THEM FAIL.
I am offended that our government bailed out AIG. But our elected officials had the opportunity to go over all the terms of that bailout, including the bonuses, and voted to do it anyway.
Apparently, none of our elected offficials read what they were overwhelmingly agreeing to, because a soon as it went through, (exactly as agreed to) they apparently "overlooked" the bonus part and, because their consitituents started saying "You did WHAT?" and "WTH were YOU THINKING??", began the witch hunt, the likes this country hasn't seen since Salem, in order to make those "Bonus Recipients Pay!!!". "Those dirty, rotten, executive B!s#t&rds!"
Power hungry Geithner/Obama, unsated, then turned their eyes on GM, and in a move that should have been reserved for the stockholders, basically fired the head dude there. To afford all this they just go and PRINT MORE MONEY...yeah! thats how we'll make it happen!!!And it doesn't and wont stop there.
All of this, to me, is OVER THE TOP GOV'T INTRUSION on the very foundation that makes this country great... CAPITOLISM.
This Administration is systematically stripping us of OUR Sovereignity, and we had all better wake up RIGHT NOW or in 5 years we're gonna be saying "WTF happened????"
I'm proud to be an American, living in the Land of Liberty, Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.

No Brother Patriot, we are screaming about the fascist take over of our nation on multiple threads (just look at my post recorded on my profile). You are not alone; we are coming together and attempting to convince the naysayers and bystanders. Keep the faith, LONG LIVE THE REPUBLIC!

I believe you are totally right Elostone. Unfortunately a huge chunk of the population have been manipulated and are wrapped up in their own little world.

Sport, fashion, who's dating who, games, movies and material gain are the things that take precedent in people's minds today.

Sure there are some who have not been blinded, but the majority are. And the worst thing of all is, they think YOUR the one who's crazy if you try to reveal the lie ....

Seems like we share the same concern on what's going on.
