Morning all.

Thought I'd drop this link out here for anyone following the G20 today in London.

news.bbc.co.uk...

It has streaming video and updates as and when they happen.

If, like me, you are expectin g trouble to kick off, then I think that this might be the place to see it.

I also find the content of these threads extrememly disturbing at the moment and this points me in the direction of believing that TPTB will be causing trouble in the protests.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

www.abovetopsecret.com...

We will never see any true cctv footage of what may happen today.

I'm fully expecting another Seattle.

I hope I'm wrong in some ways.

Peace,

MGGG

Yep - this website is definitely talking about police actions with the protesters.

I'm gonna be glued to this all day in work.

Who's joining me?

No-one?

Damned shame...

Peace,

MGGG

Oh I've checked it....it seems to give updates when police have "dealt" with protesters.

I like what the guy from Japan said on the site....

"Shawn, Yokohama, Japan says: It's become more and more apparent (read: obvious) that the worlds central bankers run the worlds largest economies, and not the leaders of those nations. This is nothing more than public relations.

He should join ATS....if he's not already a member.

Cheers for the link.... i have news on at the mo too.. watching this press conference, so annoying.

"Yeah...it's all for your own good" "I love you barack, i love you too gordon"

I'm watching PM Brown & President Obama's press conference.

Obama looks shattered ! So tired. Unwell even.

Where's his spark & vitality disappeared to ?

Supposedly the police arrested 6 protestors who were in an armoured vehicle.

BBC have breaking news about 6 protestors being arrested "in an armoured vehicle" ... no other news on that yet.

He's now actually president... and the reality of the job has kicked in... he hasn't been the Obama we saw in the campaign since he landed the job....well, maybe the first couple of weeks....

Not that i thought he was any different to any other leader anyway.

Haha beaten again

Sounds intriguing, wonder if it's an ex-army tank or something along those lines.

That statement about the armoured vehicle appears to be a little ambiguous to me. I read it as the police were in the armoured vehicle. Maybe I'm wrong.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the guy from Japan was already a member. His statement is spot and I'm impressed that the BBC allowed it to be put on their website.

Obama's ramble about the queen was certainly an 'interesting' little touch.

Peace,

MGGG

The problem is the BBC is not impartial, they'll only follow instruction on this from the government and they won't be telling you the truth.

I know it's the easiest option, but people really need to start looking away from the BBC to find out what is really happening.

To a point I agree with you,

But right now, I think that our options are limited as to where we can get up to the minute info from.

Do you have any more reliable sources?

Although i cant stand Gordon Brown..you can tell the night and day difference between both him and obama when it comes to talking without an autocue...obama tends to ramble then pause..then ramble some more inbetween his points.

Here is a twitter feed from people following the protests. I haven't browsed it yet, so I can't really speak to its quality.

www.guardian.co.uk...

EDIT:

It is actually pretty interesting to read the play by play....

Now this is funny

An "update" from that site...

0 Those helicopters above the Bank of England are not, so far as we're aware, for hurling money out of in a last-ditch stimulus effort.

I'm currently watching SKY news and they are covering it live as it happens.

The four branches of the protests are now converging on the BoE, already the Police are holding the "green" march back from the street outside. If they do this with all of them they'll not be happy.

Edit: sorry, it was the anti-war march they're holding back.

Police are getting defensive already and it looks like they're arresting.

Wow, what a pretty looking vehicle!

But be careful what you wish for, in an hour that could be the case

A link perhaps?
oh and this....
1115 BBC roving reporter Dominic Casciani in the City of London says: A large number of protesters who assembled at Liverpool Street station have been told by the police that they will not be allowed to March onto Bishopsgate - one of the main routes through the City.

If you scroll down a bit there's a live link, I think it's a constant live stream, but I'm watching it on the TV so I don't know.
