Germany Bans Group Behind Nazi Summer Camps, page

The German government today banned a neo-Nazi youth group it says ran summer camps where children were instructed in racist and National Socialist ideology, Der Spiegel reports. “Heimattreue Deutsche Jugend,” the German Youth Faithful to the Homeland, allegedly included military exercises and “racial science” classes—which discussed ways to “restore blood purity”—in its program at the camps.

“Today’s ban puts a stop to the disgusting activities of the HDJ,” said Wolfgang Schäuble, the interior minister. The HDJ boasts only 400 members across Germany, but was influential due to its public profile and links to the National Democratic Party, a more mainstream far-right group.

On one hand, such a summer camp should have never existed. On the other, now they have international attention, because of the press this will get.

I just don't understand how someone can be a nazi in this day and age.

No they are not and that's a stupid thing to say.
Hate to point this out but all of those Neo-Nazi groups in Germany
are getting their financial backing and supplies from the US and Russia, where pro-Nazi politicans openly serve in the government. HUGE militia factions as well and they appear to be very well armed and trained meaning they have skilled military backers unlike your local American militia twits. If Germany wants to nip it in the bud they are going to have to economically sanction the US and Russia for allowing people like David Duke to go abroad on their passports. I guarantee you that most of the illegally operated European websites are connected in one way or another to Stormfront in South Florida which means they are engaging in international criminal activity since selling or distributing an type of Nazi paraphernalia or literature is illegal in many places in Europe, and all across Germany.
One good laugh I had recently, someone I believe from the Wall Street Journal wrote a sob story suggesting that the news industry could be saved as nonprofit agencies, suggesting that the Washington Post could be operated by the Ford Foundation..... the very same group which helped to finance Hitler. So nice to know that fact checking is alive and well in the mainstream media! Guess Pravda should put their bid in on the New York Times!
