Broken Man (poetic)

How many I am sorries
can erase the pain
how many broken hearts
crying tears like rain

Years have come and gone
the pain still lingers there
deep within my soul
it really isn't fair

You must be happy
my heart you did take
but I think you pay a price
for every heart you break

Some one will do to you
the things you did to me
maybe when that happens
you will finally see

Pain and love
should not go hand in hand
and when its time to pay up
you'll be a broken man.

Very nice. Illustrates how love cuts both ways.

Reminds me of an old fav. But I enjoyed yours just as much.
