I'm not sure whether you are actually being serious or not but, because I have no reason to doubt what you say, you won't get any judgement from
I am not really a believer in the dark arts and magic, but I do own a copy of the necronomicon (It's the Simon edition, proven a fake) and I have
tried the incantations and rituals from it. Strangly enough, though I know that it is most probably fake, they have had an effect on me several times.
One of them, one to rid your body of demons, caused me to cry with the force of the words and, apart from sending cold shivers down my spine, made me
extremely jumpy and fearful until I woke up the next day. What I surmised was that, despite not believing in it's power with the entirety of my
heart, the demons within me that had been loosed onto the outside world hung around me, keeping me afraid because they can only re-enter a body if
that particular entity is in a state of fear. Then, when I fell asleep (still fealing uneasy and afraid) they could penetrate me and I would have to
do the whole thing again and try not to feel their evilness.
Now, that is of course a theory based on something that I do not believe in, but I guess you could say that I must, in some way, believe in it.
