The tower — still under construction with a projected completion date of 2013 — no longer has the same architect, design or footprint on the 16-acre site. And this week, the owners of ground zero publicly parted ways with the Freedom Tower name, saying it would be more practical to market the tallest building in New York as the former north tower's name,

One World Trade Center

Need I say more

So perhaps this could be the little jewel the NWO plans to put up as a symbol of their prowess and accomplishment of seizure of power?
NYC is essentially a powerhouse that the world greatly relies on so it might make sense for them to put their own stamp with it dominating the skyline for all to see.

My thoughts exactly....and in the link you will read that the name was legally changed in 2006.....

ummm, isn't this "One World Trade Center" building meant to be established in the ME, in Jerusalem? You know, the HQ of the New World Order (NWO)?

Well the name does seem rather strange...almost frightening.

I like the name Freedom Tower alot more than One World trade Center.
It sounds alot less ominous and NWOish.

Will this make it even more of a target in the future?

There are plenty out there that are not happy about the prospect of a NWO, and what with the anger about the economy at the moment, i just think this is an accident waiting to happen.
