♫ ( insert text here) ♫

Just copy and paste the above line and you will get the effect of the characters without having to type the code.

  • Normally this BBCode works just fine for me.

But I'm trying to compose a post on a thread, and for some reason, the system is not producing what I've typed. When I look at the code I typed, I see the normal "[/url]" but when I see the output, the system is inserting a space between the "r" and "l;" thus, my BBCode is not working.

    Any ideas?

I have seen that happening when there are no spaces on the text and the url is too long. Is that the case?

There are several characters in url's that mess up on ATS One of them is a ?. If there is one of those in the url and the url is long it won't show a link

Been happening a lot... I can go through my recent posts and pull some examples

Used to be able to use tiny url as a work around

    Nice job but:

This program is the most difficult and tedious way to change the appearance of your post. It sucks. There are better programs out
    there.
I think FCK and TinyMCE are much simpler and quicker.
    It sucks.
    Did I say it sucks?

Never have I encountered a thread that is as useful as this one. I would star and flag it every time if I could.

This is a little test and it might as well bump the thread for newer members to read.
    Thank you.

    files.abovetopsecret.com...

Well that didn't work as planned.

    Next try.

I've tried using bb code to align text and images in my signature, but it doesn't work. Is it supposed to work in one's signature to begin with? Or am I doing something wrong?

It's centered, but not because I used code to center it. I resized it till it ended up "centered". I've tried using the bb code for text in my signature but t doesn't work.

    If I use :

    (align=center)text(/align) *

the code prints in the signature instead of the code making the text or image centered.

*Of course I used brackets instead of ellipses when actually trying it. The above line of align code is just an example

It looks like the signature area doesn't allow for all the bbcode that the rest of ATS accepts.

If you use the [‍atsimg][‍/atsimg] tags the image will be centred in the signature area, but it looks like that area is only 600 pixels wide.

    Thank you,
This is one of the best mark-up guide I have seen on any forum.
It must have taken you an extraordinary amount of time to include all the text colour code options where most others would have taken the easy road and displayed a simple colour code table.
Yes, I too have bookmarked for later reference

I found a few answers in here, to questions that I have had for awhile.
    Thx
    Loam.

P.S. .Gif is one thing I was looking for and couldn't find, if anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.
