A Guide to BBCode on ATS

Nice one Loam, This one is a great store of info. I'll be back for sure to look around some more. One question if you have a minute. I'm having trouble posting a link to other threads. When I click on the link later, all I get is the 404 page. I have posted many links to other websites with no problem but when I try to post a link to here I'm missing something. Anything different about the approach that you could help me with?

How does one center a picture?

I can't seem to figure it out.

It looks like some links are not good.

Is there any word on the color tags being turned on again?

Last I heard, SO was looking for someone skilled to work out the programming details.

I was hoping that a suitable range of colors for mild and another set for strong highlight, emphases for each background.

At present it appears that only bold off white is available.

Is that right?

I noticed more and more people are using images in their signature, it seems I recall that wasn't allowed on ATS... did ATS change that rule or was it in the rules?

I don't have an answer for you, sorry. But, I'm pretty sure they are still working on this new format so I imagine in a short time we'll get everything back that we no longer have at the moment.

Seems like some good advice but the colors no longer work on your examples. But I see a dropdown menu right here in the box. Looks like they upgraded the bbcode to relative from hex for colors. There's no button for strikethrough. That might work though. Yes it does, just type [ strike] without the space...
