The Obama administration was finishing work on a plan to give more financial aid to two Detroit automakers in return for tough cost-cutting measures that will ensure the companies' survival.

GM and Chrysler, which employ about 140,000 workers in the U.S., have already received $17.4 billion in government loans to survive the economic downturn and the worst decline in auto sales in 27 years. GM is seeking another $16.6 billion, while Chrysler wants $5 billion more.

You know, the atmosphere that has been created in politics is now is really something else.

Now people go into politics thinking they will end up having ZERO accountability and make loads of cash in partnerships and kickbacks.

This is the atmoshpere that has been created.

They are throwing money at everyone except for the people.

Sooner or later people are going to have to do something.

It's insane. Let's go Obama, bankrupt the US to save a few PRIVATE ORGANISATION.

Stop turning the economy into a fascist economy. Enough is enough. That's insane. Nobody want GM or Chrysler cars. Not even americans.

UPDATE:

Chrysler to merge with FIAT, just waiting for US government approval.

Yeah, and they still want money while they merge?

Now PRESSTV is saying that the government refused to give more money to GM and Chrysler... so they are supposed to declare bankruptcy.

Obama is supposed to talk about his plan for car makers in the afternoon.

So what's happening? We'll now before the day is out.
