You know, you're entitled to your opinion. But it's wrong. Entertainers create wealth, arguably much more than our "producers". As an individual, you don't have the authority to evaluate which kind of wealth is preferable for society. You are free, however, to use the data to analyze which industry actually produces more wealth, and in that cause you would wrong as well. Sentiments of class warfare do not help anyone.

The job you have in India is probably thanks to US consumers. You may even work for one of the hundreds of Us companies who migrated to India. So in turn, you should thank the US for the diner you put on your family's plates tonight. 10Billion is peanuts in regards to our trade relationship. Seriously. It is about the equivalent of a nickel to you or I. Are you boycotting Bollywood? They make some decent coin.

If only they could look in a mirror. People advocating for government intervention into peoples salaries, we have huge behemoth government but they don't like that one, instead they want to replace it with an even bigger government.

I fail to see your point on my comments about Atlas Shrugged. They areabsolutely true in my opinion, and I said nothing derogitory about the party or the book. I stated that it is a very sad picture for a political party to more or less base their entire philosophy off of one book, which is exactly what is happening.
Meanwhile you have a democratic party that cant acomplish anything because no one has a back bone.

Bottom line, I am not repub or dem, I simply replied to someone who is speaking of a simple book (and one that is overblown, and completely void of compassion for life) is "prophesy" and more or less a personal bible.

Sad and pathetic.

IMO it is a book that if people would have read when it was published, we would not be in this mess. Have you read the book? Be prepared becuase if you answer yes I will have a few questions for you.

When are people going to realize that people need to obtain success. There has to be a way in society for it to happen..or society will fail..period.

Forcing everyone to be equal by control of a an entity will always oppress and persecute people.

Money does not measure success.....self gratification does. Some feel better about themselves by obtaining more money as it means they have gained in society.

Society has to enable the differences of human beings.

Why does everyone seem to forget that we became the most powerful country in the world because of our freedom?

Notice how it's disappearing?

Would that have anything to do with the push for strong Socialism in this country?

The problem is some of you seem to show your own greed by attacking those who have more.

People who are successful are what people should strive to be.

It is being taken away. Society will be stagnant because of it.

Freedom to the individual is vanishing at astonishing speed...and all because of money...and those who feel they have to have more..as they feel they have been shorted by society and want it given to them by others who have succeeded.

Why in the hell can't people be happy with WHAT THEY HAVE and not WHAT THEY DON"T HAVE?

Be happy with what you have and your opportunity to succeed...not anger and jealousy towards those who have more than you.
