Success? They're successful in the same sense a bank robber is successful. They have a lot of money but they didn't earn it. The people who are truly successful and deserve wealth are the producers - Famers, engineers, architects, truckdrivers, factory workers. It's people like that who produce wealth.


You seem to be very angry. I know a lot of people who are farmers/engineers/architects who are millionares. No factory workers or truck drivers though. They (actors and athletes) chose their undustry and competed against many to get where they are. Don't punish their success. Hard work should be rewarded. They also create jobs, people buy tickets because they enjoy them, creates stadium jobs, apparal jobs, stores to sell their wares, etc. Are you saying that you would never ever want a job that paid you 16mil a year? That sounds doubtful. Everyone strives to be successful, it's just that money doesn't equal success. Some of those millionares you could probably feel sorry for because they are empty on the inside. I myself have a great family so I feel pretty rich in that regard.

It is called a free market. It happens to be one of the principles this country was founded on. Citing that you agree with the Soviet pay scale says qute a bit about you. You seem to think that these people (actors and athletes) jobs are easy. You must not know any. Public opinion constantly ripping you apart, no privacy, etc. If you think acting is easy why don't you go be the next superstar and donate all of your money to charity. If you think you can be the next Manning go try out and donate all your proceeds or make a statement by saying you want your salary capped at 100K. Seriously you're bashing the American way. Hard work and "financial" success means you are paid well. Something about me though thinks I won't be seing you on tv anytime soon.

Who cares. You're just as gullible by agreeing that the government should step in a limit what people can make. You should start worrying about yourself you might be happier in life. The rate this country is going you'll get your salary caps except there will be one on you too. Instead of being able to splurge on what ever you like to splurge on you will only have enough for what they want you to buy.

Even though I don't know how much you make, I think you make to much money and you need to be salary caped. You should only be allowed to take home 10k a year.
