The man who created two phenomenally successful "We The People" YouTube videos urging Americans to stand up against Congress and reclaim their republic now – or perhaps lose it forever – reportedly has been summoned to the White House by President Obama to discuss the subject matter of the short films.

Ummm.....this guy got somone's attention at the White House. What an interesting way to project a message with the Constitution in the background and using founding father attire. Also a brilliant idea at the end of the video to send a teabag to the employees of your government LOL. Good old Thomas Paine.

President Bush never would have paid any attention to anything that was said on youtube or on any other videos.

What is going on with the NWO?

Could the adminstration be thinking: What's this concept of liberty this guy is speaking about? We need to learn more about it so we can suppress this idea before it spreads. Anybody here learn about this in school? I wonder what it is. Huh.

I fear for this person. I'll just pretend like I'm naive and they want to talk positively about his ideas.

I really wonder what they could want from him. I mean seriously. It's a youtube video...and it got the attention of the whitehouse to this degree?

Obama is the internet president, he certainly must spend time online. Wouldn't it be interesting, were SkepticOverlord summoned to the White House?

Perhaps Obama actually agrees with him on some level.

Let's be honest, the government could easily declare him an enemy of the state and have him arrested for treason or any one of a multitude of crimes against the state and detain him until they decide what to charge him with. Sometimes this takes years.

Maybe the Whitehouse wants to DIRECT his next youtube video........

Maybe they feel that unlike the past administrations they want to listen to the public and although they are failing horribly with the economic situation it doesn't always mean they are doing so to set the world on fire purposely.

Maybe we don't need to only have doom and gloom and we will work towards a better world.

Maybe obama will take a fatal shot and rise from it and everyone will gather around him.

Ahh heck we are probably all going to hell in a hand basket!

This guy is only being used to give Obama some good publicity.

Once this guy finishes talking to Obama he will be escorted out with a few souvenirs and memories, but will see NO CHANGE in our government. Business as usual.

I hope the guy takes a crew with him to record every word that is said.
Or will it be a please leave your mobile, notebook and camcorder at the door on your way in?
Will he have to sign a confidentiality agreement so he'll be gagged and not able to relate what happened?

He doesn't strike me as the type to be easily distracted by a few shiny trinkets and an autograph. If we never hear from him again, I think I'll know what happened to him. I take back everything I just said if his next video is of him chanting "Yes We Can."

WOW. Is there any way we can get the link to the video posted on the the main page. I'm sure almost everyone here agrees with him and should see it.

I'm all for paying taxes but I'm sick and tired of government officials using us as their spending account.

I'm going to e-mail everyone I know this youtube video. I know I'm just one guy...but I really do love this country and I'm the type that would rather go down fighting than to give up......why? Because I believe in God, I believe we must persevere to succeed, and I believe we should ALWAYS offer our hand to help each other rather than point the finger and judge.

He will be bribed to soften. If he does not accept, he will be discredited publicly and presented as a goof.

The speech is good, but it could be just pure acting - guessing what people would like to hear. If they offer him some good salary, he may join the official stream.

I don't think that government would waste time on some hard case freedom fighter...they probably know something about him that made them decide to use him.

I hope I am wrong.

Maybe Obama is half the man I think he is, perhaps just perhaps he is trying to calm what I view as many peoples acceptance of an apparent New World Order.

So often, governed by interests and words of manipulative fools people state as if fact this proposed New World Order exists and anarchy is only a stones throw away. When simply, no actual credible proof of our future exists other than the fact that their are some incredibly greedy men at the top of the money chain and long will they remain.

At least maybe he is trying, but I doubt anything could ever be done now to ease the fears and sometimes drastically wild beliefs as many are simply far too entangled into the belief system that the world and in particular their leaders in the world are entirely against them.

If any new world order will rise, in my humble opinion it may well be through taking advantage of some of the more gullible theorists, at least 'we' would seem as a group to be the most easily influenced. So many times have preachers of knowledge, knowledge apparently known only to a few, or only to themselves, self acclaimed heroes of the people been proved to be liars, nothing more than manipulative money or attention seekers they claim to nobly oppose.

I know I'll be lambasted for this post, but please try to consider I believe their are huge injustices and manipulations, power abuses, secrets that should be public knowledge and other things undertaken against the general population, just not to the degree many seem to subscribe too.

It's near impossible, but if he could allay the fears of many this community would certainly see a great improvement.

There is nothing treasonous about anything in the videos this man made. They are however, certainly not inline with either parties idea of a perfect world. I don't think that Obama wants to meet him to take into consideration the suggestions this man has put forth, in any manner to implement such ideas. And surely, to meet with a single person to change their mind would only be to use them for propaganda. Clearly the man played the role of a patriot in his videos, with any luck that translates into his real persona as well.

I hope that post meeting he will put out another one continuing to show his strong criticism of the corrupt government.

I would imagine, if being summoned, they wanna meet and see the person responsable..but in a good way. If he was in toruble, thie wouldnt be any summoning..police, FBI or ATF would have taken him away in handcuffs, and charged him with a crime, since thats how people go to jail.
Being a summons, i think obama liked something about the video. You cannot summon someone and then place them under arrest...THEY come and get you.

Maybe if the Obama administration would listen and listen good to what this man is saying then maybe we could get out of this mess we are in and have back our country and have the world look at us as a shining beacon of light again. He could even go down in history as the greatest President to ever sit in the seat. But I would say the odds are against that ever happening sadly.
