How to fix and save USA from capitalist-barbarism and from sinking like the titanic !! A step by step theory and program on how to save United States

First of all: what people need in this country is to create a united-front composed of all the small socialist, leftist parties of this country (The Green Party, The Socialist Equality Party, The Democratic Socialists of USA, The Socialist Party of USA, The Revolutionary Communist Party of USA, The Workers World Party of USA, The Marxist-Leninist Party of USA, and other alternative socialist parties) which would be a real vehicle in which the masses, the majority of americans who are pissed off with the capitalist-system, would have an answer out of this mess. to caste their votes every 4 years.

However there is a catch-22 with a creation of a United-Socialist-Front composed of small socialist parties.

The catch-22 problem is that the USA corporate fascist system thru the media and its other evil things it has, will not let that united-front succeeding, The media apparatus would denounce it as a cult or an evil organization, and would spread dirty propaganda against it, just like it did and it has done many times against Ron Paul, Howard Dean and even against Obama.

Second: An educational-propaganda campaign

In order to create a united socialist party we would also need an educational campaign in order to spread socialism and marxism propaganda, information and knowledge to the masses about the evils of capitalism, fascism and imperialism and that the only solution for American citizens is socialism and marxism as the only real alternative which is participative democratic socialism. An educational program to debunk the taboos and myths created by right-wing libertarians and conspiracy theorists such as Jeff Rense, Alex Jones and other conspiracy free market libertarian lunatics against Marxism, and communism ideology.

I read the biography of Hugo Chavez and that's how he started his political program in order to change Venezuela. He first tried to wake up Venezuelan poors about the evils of neoliberalism, he talked about the importance of teaching the masses about capitalism vs. socialism. And then when Venezuelan's poors digested the ideology of socialism, Hugo Chavez and his political movement began a campaign in Venezuela as an electoral option in 1998.

And here in USA we gotta do the same thing that Chavez did, teach the US poor for some months or years what is capitalism and what is socialism before trying to do form any political party.

Almost nobody in USA have taught the masses the evils of neoliberalism, not even Kucinich, Ron Paul or any other candidate.

Ron Paul was one of the few candidates who talked about the US constitution and nobody listened to him, however his major flaw is that Ron Paul is not socialist or marxist. I don't know why if he is good intentioned as people say, he chosed the Libertarian free market ideology. If he is real smart, he should be a socialist and leftist, not a libertarian.

Because we all know that in history and present, countries with real bad economic problems and where its population is real poor, adopt state-capitalist policies or social-democrat leftist policies, but not libertarian free markets at all. In fact, when libertarianism free market is applied it increases poverty and destroys whole economies (Examples: Argentina)

So Ron Paul didn't teach the US population about the evils of capitalism, because of the fact that Ron Paul was a capitalist, not a real alternative for poor people.

Only socialist parties can be a real alternative for victims of the Bush-Obama 1.5 trillion dollars bailouts, but socialist parties don't have access to TV and the press in the USA and that's why most americans don't know the ideology of socialism,ge in TV.

So before marketing a United Socialist Front in USA as a third party alternative we need to spend some months or years trying to teach the poor people of America about the evils of capitalism and the wonders of a participative democratic socialist system, a people's system.

socialism is so good, that it is the only ideology in this country that proposes a minimum wage of 15 dollars an hour.

No other ideology proposes 15 dollars for minimum wage: socialistparty-usa.org... 3. We call for a minimum wage of $15 per hour, indexed to the cost of living. 5. We call for all financial and insurance institutions to be socially owned and operated by a democratically-controlled national banking authority, which should include credit unions, mutual insurance cooperatives, and cooperative state banks. In the meantime, we call for re-regulation of the banking and insurance industries

.

Sounds very interesting, lets see what others have to say.

Though how would we have this come about and start?

I find it so amusing that capitalism was fine as long as the going was good. Now it is "barbarism".

You would prefer the grey world of socialism, where bettering oneself is frowned upon. Where the Party officials and lackeys get the rewards and the dissenters get sent to the work camps.
A place where a great wall is erected, not to keep people from entering your socialist paradise, but to keep your citizens from escaping.

By the way, I am not confusing socialism and communism but socialism is a necessary and immediate precursor to communism.

Enjoy your new prison. You won't be able to post at ATS - it will be on the banned and blocked list of sites.

Capitalism is fine so long as there are checks and balances to keep capital in line. When Capital, its holders, and its accumulation becomes the governments main prerogative (as has been for a long time now) you get problems that look similar to the 1890's. You know, child labour, no workers rights, no right to organize, etc.

Socialism and Communism can stand side by side with Democracy just as Capitalism can. In fact, there are more right wing, capitalist Totalitarian governments in the world than there are leftist.

Your mixing Economic policies with Totalitarian Governmental systems. Are you confused or just being dishonest?

Sorry there is no way to stop what is coming.

Empires collapse and rebuild under new leadership.

It's the fact that people dont want to change. Forget Obama's slogan! People really dont want change. Not the ones in power anyway. The power is addictive, the leaders have the power; the peasants want the power.
The sad part is that the peasants are being tricked into giving the leaders more power.

Socialism is exactly a "Polar Opposite" of the Constitution.

What you are wishing for is a party dictatorship in which the people have no rights except those "allowed" by the government.

Listen to yourself... re-education camps...

Socialism is a joke... a mediocre semi-police state in which the "few" (of the party) dictate the rules.

Socialism is a "control freaks" orgasmic dream. It always seems to lead to a police state.

Bad, Bad Idea....

What is the first thing a leftest Government does..... Ban personal firearms!

Why.... I will let you think about it.

And for your hero Chavez... well he didn't like "term limits" so he generally forced everyone to vote until they voted his way to let him stay in power and you know he isn't leaving until he is dead or is forcibly overthrown.

Another in a long line of totalitarian dictators in the guise of socialism.

How contradictory of you. Your post talks of the evils of socialism as if socialism must lead to totalitarian control. Meanwhile there are a number of very successful socialist economies and countries that enjoy markedly more freedom than the US or Canada.

I will say it again, there are more Capitalist Totalitarian Governments around the world then are Socialist Totalitarian Governments.

Nothing contradictory at all.... Socialism & Communism ALWAYS sound nice but never work in practice.

Which Socialized country is the Utopia you speak of?

Yeah, I'll just jump right on that.

Here's a neat idea. How about teaching everyone a better work ethic than what I'm seeing now. High school kids graduating and demanding a 6 figure job and a 500K house. Like that's ever going to happen.

How about plan for the future, work hard, save your money. You know, a little common sense goes pretty far.

The failure of society today has nothing to do with the failures of capitalism. Don't think a poor economy gives your unsubstantiated propaganda any modicum of authority. Your influence, I'm sure, extends only to your like minded political sycophants.

There is nothing wrong with Capitalism, per se.

The problem is the paradigm of controlling the market for profit. This is what the transnational banking community has done repeatedly (each time we suffer greatly).

Capitalism would work seamlessly if people concentrated on making a living, living a life, and leave it at that. Instead some worship the compulsion to live to make a killing, and have no meaningful life at all.

Consider that we have expended enough money on banks (to regain their 'trust') to make everyone on the planet wealthy enough to own a home and go to college. You might see the reckless idiocy that materialistic consumerism has wrought upon us. That materialism, and that consumerism was foisted upon our society, purposefully, to make "money" that you can't eat, or even burn to keep yourself warm - because it's not real - it's numbers on a screen.

Then there's our infallible stupidity in deeming those born to great wealth as somehow more 'worthy' of social status than those not. Somehow they end up running things..., then ruining them. Since they suffer no real consequences (for the most part) they just seem to do it again, and again.

Money should be a responsibility - not a privilege.

We are currently experiencing the height of state-controlled market economy. The firm as an entity is growing too powerful politically. Corporate lobbyists have too much influence in Congress. This all must stop. Socialism has never been a best response to economic insufficiency, it has only ever succeeded as a populist alternative in the most perverse of economic situations. When you have nothing left, it is technically rational to believe in whatever offers you a glimmer of hope even if it never materializes.

The following link is a very good read. I suggest you educate yourself on what is really happening:

We have not been truly free-market capitalists in some time. The Feds have become to powerful and are foaming at the mouth for more and more control. The more they get involved, the worse our problems become. Be they social, economic, or otherwise. If we want to save our country, we need to exponentially downsize government and cut spending, taxes, and tariffs. The key to a utopia is not government, its free individuals who respect one another's rights and property.
