I have used windows for years and years and recently bought a MacBook. So far so good, it is fast and I like a lot of the features.

I do have some questions though and a few members have been willing to help and I appreciate that, but maybe there are others like me that have questions.

I am learning some of the commands.

Command-C = copy
Command-V =paste
Command-T = new tab (on internet)

But I find the command C not reliable...my guess is I am doing something wrong.

How do you copy a link on a post... "single post" for example.

When you do copy does the curser have to be over what you are copying?

If I am copying something "large" like a lot of text I am ok.. it is the smaller things. I am feeling lost with out the right click. lol.

Thanks in advance for the help.

If you use two fingers to press on the mousepad and click, it acts as a right click and you get the corresponding menu including copy/paste.

MacBook/Pro notebooks.

Use two fingers on the mousepad to also scroll down and sideways but it's most useful as a right click.

Not getting it. How would I, for example, copy the link for a single post with a mac?

It's probably a DVI output so you can connect to a tv/monitor.

Ok, if you are trying to copy the url of a post just highlight the url (triple click on it), then put the scroll over the highlighted section, two fingers on mousepad and click on it. You will get a vertical menu with the copy/paste options.

The only other alternative I have for you is trash the mac and get a proper computer that uses normal functions.....

Or, or, you can keep the mac so you have a computer that actually works.
