I am open to anything that will help humanity, and the animals and plants.

But I think that we have left it too late, because others have destroyed our environment.

Not quite. It can be too late to reverse the damage done and we are heading for a complete change in the environment. That does not mean that we should all be dead or even will be. It does mean life as we know it will change significantly.

I find it most ironic that the change will be forced upon us and far far more severe than the change needed in the past to avoid this that the naysayers, skeptics and deniers were so fearful of.

The new scientist had a very good article recently about the changes heading our way and some within our lifetime!!! It does not make pleasant reading.

OK, bring on the change - Lord knows we need it.

I hope that it will be a change for the better - or that we can hack it.

If you are referring to global warming. I view this as a natural thing, human beings are a natural thing, anything man made is natural from the things they make on the planet.

While I agree it is happening I think we should be more focused on sorting ourselves out first before we even think about saving the environment. Making money from global warming is one of the first things that is not acceptable if you want people to believe that its all humanities fault to name one. Global dimming is another matter that ties in with global warming as a counter.

Sorting out societies behavior would in turn sort out the environment anyways as the driving forces would be different. As for the way animals are treated, money is the driving force of this world right now and as long as we want so much of it even human beings take second place. I still strongly view all our problems as just one, societies attitudes ie me, me, me, me, me.

One of humanities greatest strengths is adaptability beaten only by the planets. If our time is up because of our own faults the planet will still survive without us.

But like I mentioned earlier, if someone chooses to believe something and has read into it and invested some time. I respect that with the particular topic.

The Bible is an account of the past. Are you one of those people that think they can match words up on the pages to formulate prophecies? (LOL aka CROSSWORDS!!!). No really you didn't buy the software to decode the pages did you? Seriously only one person, the OP, is making this happen. The other 99% are here on ATS. I don't know where you get your information from but David Icke is another terror advisor making a buck off of peoples emotions. Of course there's a new world order. Of course the world will be one. If you are so tuned into the bible you should note that your Christ will return when the world is one. This is going to take years and years to accomplish. I wouldn't worry about it too much Christ will live forever. And besides how or what do you think will bring change for the better of the good? The worlds population continues to grow. Hell someday well be talking about spend quadrillions. We're at the point where this is nothing more than a restructuring to provide a renewed economy that is scalable. And so we have the capability of several new technologies on the horizon that will drastically change the world that we live in to accommodate the future of mass growth. How do you think these things should be introduced into this world? Are they going to magically happen? It is obvious that there are several conditioning points to be made so societies can rise on more than one string. Is free energy a source of socialism? . . . and so on. And God forbid we as a world are introduced to life outside of this world. My god what are we going to do? Are we going to legalize marijuana to grow hemp? Continue to build mega churches and giant crosses around the world in retaliation of fear? Maybe it's just a great tax haven to fund the Vatican. Where did you get that bible anyway? Flip it open. Third page down at the bottom in fine print. "Socialist". Can we accept the truth? Well don't worry about it the elite are hard at work secretly planning world genocide so they can finally live in peace. That's an awfully lot of people to bury so I hope our friends are hungry because it looks like their going to have a full plate for a very long time to come. Ok. Back to watching your commercial free television.

I am totally concerned about the survival of our planet and I agree that if we disappeared the planet would continue.

I am also concerned about humankind - if we are destoyed, so be it.

But if we continue, STOP PEOPLE STARVING - I would rather we all died.

People who care feel powerless. People who know feel powerless.
NWO or not no one seems to know how to deal with the endemic corruption of governments and global corporate institutions
Is it an example of human nature that those who seek power always seem to achieve it? Perhaps there should be more stringent enquiry into the mindset of the people we elect to govern us?
Violence is never the answer. What we really need is a Martin Luther King or Gandhi to appear and lead us by example and oratory. Wishful thinking I know!
Peaceful non compliance could be one way. Another way I suppose could be to use our own voting system. I think the entrenched political parties depend upon the disillusioned opting out and not voting, after all they only need a percentage to get in. Everyone should use their vote and vote for an independent, you don’t even have to agree with all their policies. It would be one way of getting rid of this two party illusion of democracy and at least there would be no party line etc. We would then have a government made up of people with different ideologies and opinions which at least would be a step in the right direction. Does this make sense?

The sad thing is that most people don't care - and there you have it.

As for government - if enough people cared, or even thought, it might be different.

People don't think or care - most of them, unfortunately.

I will have to say the number is larger than 20%............It may only be 20% who believe........

I think those stats are absolutely ridiculous. I'm all for educating people regarding the modern world and to open their eyes, but No. 4 just pissed me off.

Considering that there are around 6.7 billion people, 20% would be around 1.35 billion people who "knew this would happen"? And yet they just sit there and allow this world to follow a pre-planned vision of the NWO while they're busy watching television and getting fat? Where is the sense in that?

And that's if it is even 20% - I think the figure is more along the lines of a maximum of 2%. My local community is a fairly religious Christian area, and I know many people. If my community is representative of the Christian world at large, I'd estimate that a maximum of around 10 - 15% have even read the Bible, or believe in anything that Christianity has to offer or teaches (Even if a lot of it is made-up). The vast majority call themselves Christian yet have never gone to Church, nor have read the Bible, yet commit all kinds of "sin" and laugh at anyone that brings up the concept of God (Supposedly, we're living in an enlightened world where Science is cool, and the divine is make-believe since there is no evidence for it). Taking into account that that seems to be similar to the world at large (I go travelling a lot, as well as interacting with people through the internet also shows you just how much people don't believe in God these days), and just for the sake of argument, I'll use the 15% from above:

The estimated 2 billion Christians x 0.15 = 300 million Christians.
(300 million / 6.7 billion) x 100 = 4.47% of the worlds population (That's not taking into account whether they go to Church, read the Bible, do everything that their religion asks them to do etc)

And that's assuming there are 2 billion Christians, considering what I have seen would mean that around 85 - 90% can't be called Christian since they hardly do anything that is required of them:

The estimated 2 billion Christians x 0.85 = 1.7 billion fake Christians.

I'm not Christian, but No. 4 did piss me off and I thought I'd try and correct it. If you have any counter-argument, there is no need to flame me, just say it in a constructive way since we're trying to find the truth through this mess of a world that has religious, educational and political organisations to blame for all the lies everywhere, whether because of too much pride to admit that their religion is dying, too sinister to admit that they're dumbing down our children, or too evil to admit outright that they're taking us along a path to the NWO.

I think the stats are something like this:

1. People who make things happen. 0.5%

2. People who watch things happen. 5 % (That includes people from all religions with their respective prophecies, as well as people that are members of sites such as this one, researchers, other academics etc. I still say that only 2% max are Christian, and was probably a little generous with the calculations above)

3. Sheeple who say, What happened? 94.5%

Considering the mess that most of the world is currently in - mainly due to decades of financial greed and deceit - can anyone point out what is so worrying about this 'New World Order'?

New - Not like it used to be.
World - Globally.
Order - As oppossed to disorder.

What are you getting your knickers in a twist about?

Hello Folks, Ive read all the way through this thread, and Im amazed at how off topic its swung.
Id like to address the issue of what is being done by those of us who are awake.

I am awake, my husband, our immediate family, and a small group of our friends are awake. that being said, we are taking steps to preserve our families safety, food, and water supply, etc. And yes weapons. I am moving into an employment position where I will hear information coming from the Fed's a short time before the public will, which will give us an edge over a lot of folks, and its just a stroke of luck that I have the educational background to do that, but it will serve us well.

I AM A PATRIOT, I was raised in a family that has fought in every war the U.S. has ever been involved in. and a lot of the backgrounds of the folks in my group include military training. And, we have developed a barter network with folks close to us, that we are already using. We are preparing as best we can to take care of ourselves, and our families. THAT is what folks who are awake are doing if they intend to stay in the country, others (and we are prepared to do this also), are ready to cut and run if need be, and get somewhere with some semblance of safety, or simply fade into the countryside, and we are fully capable of doing that also, and surviving. We arent forming revolutionary armies, we arent advertising what we are capable of, we arent drawing unusual attention to ourselves, THAT is why no one knows what those of us who are awake are doing. Beyond responses such as this, you wont hear from us until things require our attention to preserve our freedom, and then, we are ready to keep it, by force if neccessary.
R.

you cannot confront the new world order... the only thing you can do is let it fall apart from within......in order to do this you need to stop doing everything that feeds the beast.....we are fueling\funding the new world order with taxes, purchases, working at corporations, debt. not growing your own food.. purchasing gasoline instead of having an electric vehicle... paying the utilities.. get my point? .......its the only way it will fall apart... when we stop depending on the beast. only then will the beast fall apart that holds us
