Police Raid Home of Wikileaks

__._

Wikileaks was not contacted before the search, despite Wikileaks having at least two journalists which are recognized members of the German Press Association (Deutscher Presse Verband).
The time of at least 11 police detectives was wasted conducting a futile raid on the private home of volunteer assistant to a media organization.
Police asked for the passwords to the "wikileaks.de" domain and for the entire domain to be disabled.

A news flash to the Czar that did the raid on these people I know alot of the people that are behind Wikileaks this isnt a group you want to piss off they will find where you live those of you that did this and you wont have a privite life anymore when there done with you. A mirrior site or not you people that are doing this better stop before another turf war starts here and no one wants that.

One of the last times this happened you people in the FBI did something simliar to a server in prauge as a recall and so many retired espionage agents hacked your servers and so many leaks came out the month it happened your FBI got audited and you lost funding that year.

This kind of trend isnt going to be taken lightly some of us wont sit and wait for the czar to show up will come looking for you.

I have to echo that sentiment Falcon!

I don;t think the people who want Wikileaks silenced realize what they are up against. They should know better.

It's going to blow up in their faces, and they will not recover.

for shame.

I suppose the authorities don't realize that a site with that much information would be backed up in numerous places.

Dumdums.

I would love to know what the censored site list is for Australia.
I think it's criminal that we can't get access to it.

I find this totally overkill.
There must be something more to these censored sites than Porn if the owner of wikileaks in Germany is carted off to the can.
It just doesn't add up.

Wikileaks has posted the complete list of websites that the Australian Government intends to block under its proposed opt-out internet censorship scheme. The Government has flagged plans to expand the blacklist to 10,000 sites or more. metafilter

Thanks for that , much appreciated.

It's not a bad thing for them to want to eliminate child porn off the net, but we all know that it's not going to stop there.

Im sure if the evidence points to child porn distribution which can be easily verified then they acted accordingly. Keep in mind, for a raid to happen the judge does need to see evidence. Lets keep ourself in a reality world and not consider everything as a conspiracy.

Although i do support confiscating any servers/computers associated with such sick minded twisted human beings.

It's called blowback. If the CIA can't learn a lesson, I don't know how anyone else can. Let them do it. It'll be anarchy. Kinda like watching the struggles between the FBI and CIA during the JFK administration.

Basketball season is almost over with. I could use some entertainment.
